I test drove one today. It was fantastic. A little bit underpowered, but once you hit 4000rpm it comes alive and feels great. Just need to check the novated lease arrangement at work then I think I will order one.

Does anyone know which is the better model to go for? GTS, GT? or even BRZ?  Of course my preference is an 86.

Whatever you do, don't get a GT, go for GTS or BRZ.

The rear brakes on the GT are lower spec than the other two, non-ventilated rotors I believe. I can't believe in this day and age they would consider doing such a thing to a sports car, but they have.

BRZ is on the cards for me. Only because I think the WRB is the nicest colour and I have owned soobies for a long time, so have a good relationship with my dealer. I personally like the look of the BRZ a bit better too.

Apart from cost though, you cannot argue which is better than the 86 or BRZ, they're two sides of the same coin. For local spare parts market you are probably better off hedging your bet on the 86 since there's more delivered locally, but this only matters for cosmetic items that are unique between the two.
