Excellent Daniel, sounds like its going to be a great project. We need more Gen 3t's getting around Perth

Just on a sidenote dont bother with the fuel cut defender on a Gen 3. Its not a great idea.

Hope to see lots of build progress pics.

You should take the caps off the rims. I looks pretty weird seeing the skyline logo on an mr2. Or try getting toyota badges the same size to stick over them.

Cheers Dozer. Yeh AVCR has some great features but since its goin to be in ash tray i would like to see boost on cluster (easier visability). Have a digital boost display on delivery from Emspowered that fits in where old boost/battery meter goes.
Thanks for the heads up on the speed cut mate. I do have one already if i choose to install it.

Update - Halfcut in the garage. In a day of shoit weather, and not a good size trailor I managed to pick up the Gen3 halfcut from KYP (Ben the owner is a champ) to my house, which to took about an hour cause i was drivin like a nanna.
I had it started at the shop it sounded sweet. 96 model, GEN 3 what more could i ask for.

Anyways heres a pic of how we transported it:

    Motor:

This is how you remove it from trailor

I went on kinda of deal with Ben from KYP, but basically you can say 3500. Though they are getting pretty rare in Japan, and are getting more expensive. I had to wait 6 months for the right price, and that was going through a few importers. 2 people had GEN3 halfcuts, one for 5k and another for 6k.

Blake can you clarify what part you mean. Plus at the end of the swap i will sell up all left overs...
