Finally the project is almost complete. Thank you to all the specialist parts suppliers around the world and in Australia that helped me to track down new for old OEM parts.

A quick video attached. Will post build and completion photos in a few weeks when it is all done.

Wow! it's impressive! i am looking for the 2.2 NA kit too, but all i see are mostly for Turbos. BTW, is yours originally the VVTi Red Top 3SGE? and for now with the 2.2 kit still with the VVTi?
i've watched your video, it's silver top (non-vvti) but i am not sure if upgraded to 2.2 kit, i need to remove the vvti?

love to see more videos and photos from your upcoming updates !

I’ve had to depart slightly from the 100% stock look with a custom air box. Simply wasn’t getting enough air to the engine with the stock air box and the aggressive cams.

Make sure to turn your sound up to full noise before you hit the link.

And no I wasn’t going for max power with this build. I’ve got a BNR32 when I want to go fast. Read my initial post on this thread for all the details. Main objective was to keep it as OEM as possible - new for old apart from mechanicals. Engine build was based on the Tom’s T020 NA - which power stats give or take I’ve achieved. And yes it’s a rocket ship to drive with 180hp at the wheels and no turbo lag. Feels faster and more fun to drive than my first heavily modded and boosted 3SGTE SW20 back in the 90s. Although that was a long time ago and I’ve likely forgotten!
