Vic MR2 Club cruise, Sunday October 29th 2017

As usual all MR2 owners are invited to join us, and not only Club Members.
You are welcome to come and meet other owners, and talk MR2's.

    Well, I've finally got around to putting up some details of the Toolangi Cruise.
    We had another great turnout with 13 MR2's.
    We had five AW11’s, one Spyder and seven Sw20's
    Good to see so many AW11's.
    Heaps of driving fun with plenty of twisties to keep us alert, along with fine weather.

    Yes, it certainly was, and our Sunday club cruise events have been well attended lately corresponding to an increase in the Vic club membership in the last couple of years.
     
    I suspect partly because many SW20 owners now join the MR2 club to qualify for the Vicroads CPS scheme (Club Plates) offering a huge saving on rego.
    Only cars over 25 YO are eligible, and the '90 model SW20's (probably the most common) first became eligible 2 years ago,
     
    Of course club plates are not for everyone because there are limitations on how many k's you can travel and you have to fill in a log book, but they are great for people who only drive their MR2 occasionally.
