Installed jdm loom and ecu.

I have not had much luck finding a dizzy for my car and didn't want to buy a new one from the states,so was sitting there this afternoon and thought why not use the engine loom and ecu out of the import wreck i have here that runs a different dizzy(which are easy to get)
and map sensor instead of a air flow meter.
Anyway a few hours later turn the key fires up and runs well,no fault codes so it looks like it all worked.

Only things that didnt plug in the oxy sensor as the jdm setup uses a one wire sensor, could also be that its a early aw11.
also have to lenthen the ecu wire as it runs though the oppisite side of the boot. But it now runs the same dizzy as the ae82 corollas/sprinters.

    ummm.... was that really necessary?

mate's 92 was running a gen3 distributor and gen2 motor....(well later model distributor i'm not 100 percent sure when exactly it was meant to have changed but the one on the car didn't match the VIN or motor number when we ordered the part....

yeah think so. from memory the leads come out from the dizzy cap and a different angle and they clip on differently...thats about it.

but changing the loom and ecu would have been educational. I wonder if the fuelling/boost set point is any different?
