My best guess is that you will end up with 220-222rwkw when you get it sorted. Will be interesting to see how close I am. Doesn't really matter that much when you have such a flat and monstrous torque curve.

I'm going to say 235RWKW when it gets some intercooling and 250RWKW when on E85 :)

Time for an update:

I made a few changes and took the car to a different dyno shop. The car came into the shop and made 190Kw on the first run. They then modified my fuel setup and put a new intake pipe on, fixed my MAF sensor mount and the result was 213.8Kw again - but this was partially due to a different dyno.

Peak torque was 521nm and more impressively 380nm at 2250rpm.
The car is much faster now, but still some improvements to be made.

I recently shipped an ecu to Gouky in the US who will be modifying my ECU. Changes are listed below:

-7200rpm rev limiter
-Leaner Tune - current tune is seeing 10.5 AFR at peak
-Torque limiting removed (explained below)
-Higher Speed Cut (Current is 250km/h)

Unfortunately the immobilizer has to stay. The torque limiting in the standard ecu is between idle and 3000ish RPM to stop torque steer, which is acheived via limiting the VVTI tables. With this removed the car should make a bit more power on the low end.

On the top end, the VVTI is again limited up past 5800ish RPM as a "soft" limiter. with the 7200RPM limiter, the tables will be extended. This should see more power.

Speed cut is getting extended to 265km/h, which is the maximum allowable from the ECU. My current gear ratio's wouldn't let me go past this much further anyway. I expect 250km/h to be  achievable, considering I can do 200km/h in a 650m straight at Queensland raceway from a rolling start.

Unsure on what peak will be, this is a very experimental tune so I will be fitting a wide band to monitor it whilst the car "learns" before taking it to the dyno again. If all is OK, I will run the ECU at Wakefield.

I also need a new set of rear tyres for obvious reasons... haha.

Nice work Eric, can't wait to see end result. I remember how scary the V6 was - I bet the boosted 2GR is even more pants-sh!ttingly frightening

I talked about the dyno chart before, but I have included it below. The tractive effort is not torque (nm) but the actual force on the dyno.

The past year I have focused on the powertrain, but now its time to focus on suspension. I have coil overs but the steering is a little sloppy and my bushes are pretty old

To complete my overhaul of suspension, I purchased the following:
  • Prothane Bushing Kit
  • Inner tie rods
  • Outer tie rods
  • Steering rack bushes
  • Sway bar reinforcement plates
I will be pulling all my suspension out and refurbishing everything.

I also purchased a Sabelt 6 point extension for my harness.

Next up on the list of things to do is a front splitter. The front end is getting extremely light over 160km/h, and this has always been a project I have wanted to try.

More photos to come soon

Where'd you get your suspension gear from?

All of it was from ebay. Resonably priced too!

Love the linear power curve Eric!  Hopefully the Gouky ECU will be reliable enough to bring to Wakefiled, can't wait for some passenger laps.

I will have to upload some photos soon, but the poly bushes are in and the difference is AMAZING! The car rides 10x better and steering feels a lot sharper.

In other news I finally took it down the 1/4 Mile.

I managed a 12.905 at 175km/h. I dont really do drag racing much so a lot of it would be driver error. My target was a 12.5 so I wasnt too far off.

My times climbed after the supercharger heat soaked, so i imagine water injection will help keep things in check. Additionally my tyres are very nearly bald and first gear is pure wheel spin.

With some 255's on the back, Gouky's ECU and water injection (Plus a serious amount of practice) I believe I can get it to go low 12's

I did surprise a lot of cars though, which was very exciting :P

I must join you for this one night. Will have a trailer at the ready as I expect to replicate your cv experience. What time does this kick off?

Small update before MTC

Brakes done and ready for a workout ;)

I also removed the supercharger to install a boost nipple. The factory manifold has no boost reference.
This was a nerveracking task as you cannot buy a replacement manifold, and I also didnt want any shavings entering the blower

I also purchased a gauge setup off Dave. Works really well! excellent features and the shift lights are a nice touch.

I recorded a pull up to limiter in second gear to see what my peak boost was.

It was also good to confirm that my oil pressures are well above the minimums for the 2GR.

I've arrange a set of used A050's for the upcoming track day, hopefully I can make the most of them!

The only thing stopping me is the fleshy thing behind the steering wheel. My aim with street tyres was 1.13 - hopefully I can do a 1.12 or better now

Last year I did a 1.16 with no alternator, hopefully the extra 40ish KW and tyres can get me there
