Ahh this is so cool. I wish my car was track only so I could do all this!

Everything went well this weekend, and I am very close to finishing this round of mods. I have to do some painting tomorrow night, do a wheel alignment and bleed the coolant. that's pretty much it!
My next event is on the 15th of July at Sydney Motor Sport Park for the Nulon Nationals time attack. I won't be competitive because I don't have enough power though at least the car will now look the part.
It will be a great event so some along and have a look. There will be some great cars there. Entry is free.
Here are the new rear trailing arms that I put in today. This will remove the lot of movement and flex in the rear suspension that has been causing changes to the toe setting.

Great aero mods. Looking forward to seeing your feedback on the car balance after SMP.

Here is my wheel alignment setup. I saw a Porsche Cup team doing it this way so I thought I would give it a go. I'm very happy with it. The rectangle it forms is very accurate and is only 1mm different from the left side to the right side. I can also use this to not only set toe, though to also ensure that the 4 wheels are spaced exactly the same distance away from each other. It is not possible to do that with a regular wheel aligner (I believe...)

Nicely aero mods, just curious how much wider rim/tyre/offset you can fit with the front guard works done.

Maybe 1 size bigger depending on how much clearance you have with your coilovers

I'm going to see what it feels like first before I build one, and I need to move the exhaust outlet first too.

You will be getting good at building aero bits Glenn!

How did you establish the height of the rear spoiler i.e. high enough into the airflow?

The spoiler is the same $50 one that I bought years ago. It's probably OK though may need to be higher.
I don't want to make too many changes in one hit, or I will be chasing my tail.
If I find that I have too much front traction compared to the rear, I'll look at getting a different wing and/or adding a diffuser.

I did the Brabham circuit yesterday. The car went very well and got a 2.12.5 lap

Nice driving Glenn, that Civic was hella quick! Quick question - love the sound of your BOV (or lack thereof?), whats your set up?

I'm sure it's been answered earlier but I'll have to scan through the whole build thread some other time haha
