That one does look good, but is a conversion.
Appears to have a fair bit of wiring running over the intake which isnt present on stock Gen3s....then again, could be for anything.

To the OP, I have heard only good things about these people. www.vipinspections.com.

Best of luck with your search.

I can't see a year model. From sellers 'sellers' feedback he has sold a few cars, so form your own opinion about history of car.
'Breathtaking' could also translate to 'terrible exhaust leak into cabin and you can't breathe' and "[font="arial; font-size: large; line-height: normal; text-align: -webkit-center"]still personally regarded as the best condition unmolested MR2 i have yet to come across"

Well, what he wants to do in his personal time is his own business. Does mention that the paint has a 'Super glossy paint finish..."

If you'd be game to buy a car sight unseen without asking an independent mech or a nearby forum member to even have a squizz, well bravo to your, um, trust in humanity!

May it work out well for you.

I would go with the old saying....... "If it seems to be too good to be true, then it usually is!"

Too shiny, too low km's and why start at an auction price of 99c, particularly if you are looking for a deposit on a four door car????

Something just doesn't make sense with this one.......so best to keep looking.

There are a few for sale in WA, check out the "For Sale" section of this forum and go kick a some tyres and test drive a few.......there is also a nice looking blue one for sale in SA - might be worth the cost of a flight........unless someone else on the forum knows differently :-)

You would probably be better off spending the $1500 (freight from Sydney) on making some repairs on a locally bought one - remember that these cars are around 20 years old so you will need to expect to spend money on them for one reason or another.

Then, there's the issues of getting it registered here from interstate, so you need to be confident that any mods will be acceptable - mine was stock and I still had issues with tyre load ratings that has never been picked up in any other State over the car's entire life!!!

Just a few points to consider.

Hope you find a suitable car and see you on the next WA cruise :-)

Cheers, M

Far out SW20s are getting cheap

Not that is matters to much, 2 more years and im going to try and get mine on club plates (only reason I hate having a car I drive 5-10 times a year is coughing up the rego every year)
