fredhoon Makes sense, is it possible to make this a user settable option? My email is as secure as this forum software, especially when you consider authentication to the forum can be stored in cookies (keep me logged in checkbox). I find it more convenient to review the contents of a PM via email when using a phone, eg when at the post office confirming an address for a FS item.
It's not available at the moment. It would need to be written into the software

Knightrous Also, is the search function working? I just tried a couple of searches and it couldn't pull any results :(
It wasn't working and sorry for the outage earlier. SQL Server was playing up so I had to reboot the server. The cause of the search not working was because the full text index was broken. I re-created it and now search works OK.

Dudeman are we here now, or am I stuck in a vortex - mobile and non-mobile will only take me to this new foreign land...
Manually set it to the mobile theme and it will remember the setting

It works OK with mine. I have a Motorola Razor. What is it exactly that you can't get onto? Does it load at all? Does it load with the mobile or elegant theme? Are you able to log in? Are you logging in with your forum credentials, Facebook, Google or Twitter credentials? Thanks

IMHO, I'm liking the new look/feel. It IS faster for me (I use Chrome) and I've got used to where to click to see recent posts etc., Well done, young Admin!

I've just tried my phones to help troubleshoot - I'm running Android 4.1 (CM10) on an older phone and can access the mobile skin in both the default browser and Opera Mobile. My wife's phone running Android 2.3.7 (CM9) can also access the mobile skin using the standard browser. Have you tried Opera of Dolphin to see if they make a difference?

Knightrous I've found the new forum upgrade has made the forum a bit more snappy for me, less lag between pages and posts are pretty much instant.
+1. I find it definitely moves between pages quicker than with the previous software. BTW, I'm using Firefox.

The mobile version (on my HTC Desire HD, standard Android browser) seems to have an issue. Often when I click on a forum thread to open it, once the thread loads it jumps to a blank white page with just an advertisement at the top, I think it's the same advertisement from the top of the thread that was clicked.
