And nope took them out to clean them get the flow tested etc when I had the intake manifold off porting and polishing it.
Putting them back in thought I'd get away with not replacing them I didn't.. Ahahaha

Yeah, for water temperature or something. Ill get a photo tomorrow.
Your old one isn't cracked? How much you want for it?
You sure you didn't damage them whilst putting them back in? I had that problem when I rebuilt my 3SGE. Makes sense if you thought they were good and then only realised once they went back in.

Yeah they looked fine But apparently once they hit the air they become real brittle due to being soaked In petrol they practically get wind burn as there all dried out. From the petrol. So I guess they split going back in, Owell I bought 8 of them for next time or spares

Oh Ahah sorry dude Yeah sure if you want it Ill double check to make sure it's not cracked or anything but from my last look at it, it wasn't I only got a new one Because it was genuine And because it was already fitted to the surround instead of it looking crappy But I'd be happy with 30$ plus postage so lets say 40 to your door?

Yeah sweet. So it's the old one out of your car, which the gear boot clips in to?

FWIW I changed my fuel filter recently and took out what looked like the original Denso one from 1989 and it didn't make any noticeable difference to the running of the engine (possibly 2% smoother on the bum dyno)...so don't get your hopes up that's all :P

Doubt it would be original Unless you owned it from 1989 Would say it was serviced by toyota Also a lot of people still come in buying genuine stuff A guy came in the other day looking for a 1997 Celica oil filter and fuel filter :) Made a difference for me. Just something that won't hurt replacing

Just soaked it in WD40 and noticed why my hand brake is loose. The part of the hose that clips in right near the rotor isn't clipped in.

^well i even cut the old one open with a hacksaw and it didn't appear to be too dirty inside though. Not saying it wont make a difference but it didn't really on mine and so i'd be looking at other things like fuel pres reg etc also trying to diagnose something like this through a forum is near impossible without knowing the car imo

Yeah, but its good for tips on what to look for.
I don't think it is the fuel filter, but I have had a new one for months so better put it in. I think it has something to do with the ignition side of things. But they will sort it out when I get a tune next week.

Replaced the fuel filter today. I could blow thru it, but needed a lot more effort then the new one.
