Well there's a hole in the same vicinity of the csi hole on the old manifold

So I figured it went there but a thinner injector to suit the manifold

Because I can't see a suitable reason for that hole to be there other then for a csi

I don't like doing things dodgy I want to sort this out ASAP so it goes back to the way before the new manifold
I'd like to keep the ported manifold so maybe a custom hole.

Ahh that makes a lot of sense.

Can I custom machine a hole into the manifold? Or not really?

Also am I able to bypass the csi unit, and delete it completely ill do some research on it, but if any can help me out in custom making a hole or even deleting it that would be great :)

  If you can't plumb the complete injector unit (see pic)
into the new manifold post the throttle body properly,  best to block off the fuel line to it and not have it operational at all.

Failing that, as Mrskylighter says,  refit the old manifold, at least you'll have proper cold starting.





 
 
 

UPDATE;
So today I unbolted the manifold then attempted to drill out the hole I had the fuel line plumbed into but the hole wasn't even going into the manifold it was just there I would say for a braket or to bolt the manifold down to the head not to go Into the manifold at all so
I drilled the hole into the manifold then started going up sizes .5mm at a time until the injector fit finally at 8mm I had some luck it got perfectly
I bolted everything back together started the car checked for leaks there were none but just incase I
(for now) used selastic to seal it to avoid any air sneaking through

So got to keep the manifold and do a pretty decent custom job at the same time and the csi is still doing its job
Everyone's happy :) thanks to everyone for there input on this. Hopefully this can provide a guide if anyone else decides to do this..

That's exactly how far it was in the old manifold it goes all the way into the manifold ATM it's just in there won't drive it until a bracket is made up/ it's at least selastic it in.

But the only thing different on the old one it there's two screws either side of it..

Will pilot out the hole more until the brass section fits, in sorry about that, but yeah then it should be fine :) thanks mrskylight

+1 for fitting a fire extinguisher.
About $30 for the 1KG type with metal mounting bracket.
I also fitted mine to a metal strip between the front passenger seat bolts.
If you mount it low it should not interfere with seat sliding forward.
