Can't wait to see this, this weekend!

Not sure whats with the front fenders, not completely sold on them - but I will leave my final judgement after seeing it on Sunday.

wow excellent work mate. i love the colour, is that a gen 3 wing or kaminari?
any reason you didnt colour code the front lip??

thanks mate, it is a gen 3 wing.  pulled it off a 95 N/A, the front bumper and lip too.  i went with the black lip because i wanted the angry/exotic look to it and i think i might have achieved it. also with the rims, exhaust, cowel in front of exhaust, centre panel and bit of the front bumper being black i thought it would compliment it well.

Senor_2: thanks, its been a long process.  very happy with the result

Chase: you will like the guards :)

car will also be in either Hot4's or Fast Fours in the next couple months.

one of the pics taken at my Fast Fours shoot.  This one won't be in the magazine so I am allowed to share it.

Looking like somewhere between July and September for it to feature.

This isn't good!

Now I have an excuse to put on the new exhaust and wastegate.

It wasn't ceramic coated... for all the experienced people, should I be considering this for the repair/new manifold?

re: Ceramic coating.  Was this an original component, or was it made and failed?  Are you running a standard factory exhaust, or have you changed something in the run of the system?

If you can stand the wait, repair (or replace) the cracked component, then fit it up and run it for a few thousand k's.  Remove and inspect, if it's still good then coat it. Saves the heartbreak of "Oh, my very sexy ceramic coated exhaust has cracked in the same place as last time . . ."

Nice job on the rebuild, and I do love the blue.

Is the manifold braced Cjay?

Steampipe is generally alot more robust and resistant to cracking.

It is steam pipe and its not braced but the issue (we think) was the weld and weight of the wastegate pipe and wastegate.

I have gone a smaller wastegate now Turbosmart CompGate45 compared to an HKS 60mm which is a significant weight change.  I cant believe how responsive the car is now.

If i was to brace it though, where do you think I should brace it to?

I'm loving the side by side pics you have added to your signature!  What a difference!
The car looks a lot more aggressive and cleaner.  Congrats on the change, looking forward to
checking out the mag :)
