got my hands on this lip other day and installed- not sure what it is - resembles 93+ lip but it sits a fair bit lower. if anyone could point me in right direction would be appreciated - wouldn't mind getting matching skirts (if such a product exists?)

Thanks

I got quotes varying from $150 - $280 a seat.

Ended up getting just a local trimmer to install them both for $300, I think if I was do it again I would attempt z DIY as he said they fitted pretty much perfectly.

So I had a go at making some custom rear pods over some scrap bits found around my backyard. Below is from a old 93 front lip that was in the bin pile - fell off the car at speed and got dragged on ground and run over.

And instelled and painted (will need to repaint, weather was a bit sh*t) - also installed a set of Pheonix Power Sideskirts. Colour matching this car is an absolute nightmare - its still not 100%. Will have another crack it in the future.

Minor updates,
Sold my daily MR2 so this one will be copping a lot more driving so decided to get the body fixed up.
Unfortunately, at a previous time this car has been painted another colour that  managed to get the scan tool on and came up with "8T4 Stingray Metallic" a 2005 Scion colour, unfortunately who ever mixed it previously decided to add more red and purple causing a colour match to become very difficult and has ended up painting more areas to blend it in. Quite glad its in experienced hands.

Purchased a replacement bumper and lip (Unsure what this lip is - any ideas?)
Front Bumper + Lip got butchered on my minor off around Barbagello Raceway earlier this year

Sideskirts:

So many layers of paint its not funny. Still have the original side vents if these don't pan out. Hoping they do

Rear Bumper and DIY Pods:

Again, had many layers of paint which have been sanded back.

Fender:

A paint match gone wrong, layer upon layer of paint all sanded back and low points filled.

Roof:

Fixed some rust that was coming through in a small spot and some areas where the paint fade was becoming a bit visible.

looking good man, the custom rear ;pods looks like a nice idea
the grey front lip thats beaten up looks like the shine auto replica one (not the Aeroware copy but the other version)
the new lip yu bought could be the aeroware copy lip or a gen 3 lip (hard to tell)
the sideskirts are not Phoenix Power ones, unless they make two versions.

are you going for a later model spoiler, i would recoment it so that the holes can be shaved from the sides and can swap spoliers from late models
the 3 piece one restricts you option to change from one to the other, since your painting the car i thought id menton it.
now is also a good time to roll the guards, delte badges, shave antenna etc if your going down that path

cheers

Long story short is I opted out from doing a full respray on this car. The rest of the body was pretty good and but the main reason was I couldn't justify spending the extra coin (it was substantially more) on respraying the whole car.

I actually have a Gen 3 Spoiler Sitting in the Shed which I could of used but it seemed like a lot of effort for too little gain.

The lip is a bit of a mystery, measured it against a Gen3 Lip and is larger and more angled.
I will see how it works out when its painted (will be colour coded)

As for the side-skirts, from the very little research I have done I think there are two kinds of Phoenix Power Kits - one being a lot more subtle. See Below - they were on the MADPSI website, but that website has been redone and the link I had saved is now dead.

Type I

Type II

Rear pods was a just a thing I mocked up quickly using bits I had laying around, also has advantage of being made of plastic.

ah yes it does look like the second one in the pic.
are you talking about the lip thats on the red front bar?? that must then be a Aeroware replica Lip.
cheers

So I got the car back late last night.

Painter commented how much of a nightmare it was to match, the code scanned AND the code of firewall didnt match so he ended up mixing up and spraying samples. Turned out there was one side has a lot of red pearl where the other has a purple pearl.

Either way, its completed and I'm happy. Will try and get some better pictures soon (weather and camera isnt the greatest)

Few minor cosmetic differences from before.

> Solid Mouldings to delete Toblerone Indicator
> Wired up Fender Indicators (ran wires above fender to prevent rubbing through wiring with wheels)
> Toyota Clear Front and Side Clear Lenses (Thanks Monica!)
> Colour Coded Rear Pods

Can't see your pictures for some reason, but I am looking forward to seeing the new paint job at the next cruise.

Glad I could help with the indicators :-)

Cheers, M

So with the help of a friend I got some better photos.

Colour is a bit different then what photos shows.

Regret not painting the Gen 3 Centre Panel, Will probably do it at a later stage.

You have my approval of the new paint job. So far it's just been very shiny and I believe that's not buffed yet.
