Made the call to go the BC Racing BR series. Unfortunately "in stock" doesn't necessarily mean "in stock with us" rather "in stock somewhere else in the world". 2 weeks seems like 2 years! So I will be bumping around Wakefield tomorrow, while I believe a courier will be dropping the coilovers off at my mechanic Oh well, will give me a "baseline defining" laptime, all part of the journey I guess! Will try and get some footage via iphone/Harry's lap timer which looks like a fun app.

Definitely a good idea to do at least 1 track day before changing the car. Gives you an idea of what the modifications are actually doing.

Haha, it's ALWAYS a good idea to do a track day, full stop. I'm converted!

Best of luck tomorrow mr plow. Make sure your tyre pressures are right before playing with shock settings or it can be all i vain. I heard good feedback with the BC units. Also good value for money.

+1 for BC BR Type! Super-easy to adjust and adapt for your driving style :) Mine are settling in nicely and several people here now know just how hard they've made the car corner :D

Coilovers in and alignment done, can't wait to pick the car up on Saturday to feel the difference! Will actually try to hang onto it for a while and get along to a meet.

Wow, so far so good! Nice & firm, but some "shocks" actually being "absorbed", instead of just banging on the bump stops. BC Racing FTW!

Tested them out at Wakefield this week, knocked about 3.5 seconds off my previous best, so very happy with the BCs. Re: eBay, I couldn't see the BR series there (locally) and the price with postage from OS seemed higher than I paid.

3.5 seconds improvement?? That's heaps lol. With so many urgent things to do on my car before the big 2013 Track Day challenge I've calculated spending more than 2k already before touching suspension so I decided going stock but it looks like I'll be at a serious disadvantage lol. Hoping my power increase can compensate a little...
