Coilover recommendation?
Hi guys, Looking for some suspension recommendations, the current suspension is tired and my mechanic has suggested either some new pedders to get me by for a while, or else do it properly and get some coilovers. I'm hoping to build to a "soft/medium-core" track machine, hopefully around 250 - 275rwhp, with occasional daily drive (since its so much fun!) Any recommendations?

I have KW V3 coilovers and I love how they ride. I think they would be ideal for a car that sees a fair bit of track time but still gets used on the street too. Also, they are probably the best quality coilovers available.

My bad, I can see this type of question has been asked and answered plenty of times before! I'll pull finger and do some reading... Thanks for your reply robk. So far I'm seeing the KW's for results & quality, and some votes for BC racing for results/value.

Probably comes down to how much you want to spend.
What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law.-"Sheriff Buford T. Justice." Do you know the 1st rule of Italian driving?

I have Tien SS (superstreet) no complaints from me about them. Feels a lot like the standard Bilstien Suspension I removed. Actually one complaint, one of the damper adjustment screws snapped off (I have to use an allen key to adjust it) but I rarely do so no major concern.

If it's for track use, I hear Tein Super Streets are too soft. They're meant to be comfortable for the street. They also don't have as much adjustment as other coilovers. I've got BC inverted coilovers which I'm happy with for street use. Spewing I've still not been able to take them to the track but once I do I'll let you know how they go. Have a feeling they should do pretty well though. If you wanna spend a bit more the BC external reservoir coilovers are supposedly not bad. I've not tried KW but everyone says they're awesome so they probably are. Just a bit more expensive I guess. Do Bilstein or Penske make anything for MR2s? They're meant to be awesome if you can afford them. How much are you looking to spend?

The price of BC Inverted (1,399) is looking about right to me, and the feedback sounds good. With them on, the performance bottleneck will be the driver (me!) lol Am hoping to be sorted for a speed off the streets day at Wakefield, 21st August, with a few work mates if anyone interested (Adrian??)
