From memory the SS have 16 clicks/increments so you'd be around 6 which is quite soft. When I had mine on the SW20 I had all four of them on about 6 without any instability in the rear. They were also quite comfortable on that setting.

I think i drove mine all the time on the stiffest dampening, and it still wasn't really an issue in terms of comfort, having come from much worse before it.

you wound it all the way clockwise till it wouldnt go anymore and drove on that setting???? just curious as it says not to do that cause the valve will be stuck closed or somethign along those lines and can blow the shocks.....

ok, so i have now set the damping on 8 on the front, and 12 on the rear. the car feels a bit better now but i can still feel the rear end swaying it could just be me imaginign things thats its gotten better i dont know lol ahd a quick look under the car everything seems to be ok or i think it looks ok anyway.. one thing i also forgot to mention when we took the front camber tops off to fit adjustable ones, one of the sides had the orientation the wrong way, theres a small arrow on the top thats says forward, that was pointing to the back.. now this can probably change the castor a bit, just wondering now if the rear has also been installed the same way, and wethere that will cause this issue??? cheers

Man, i'd take your car to a specialist and have them do what they are special at.
Then its all going to be properly aligned and more importantly safe.
It may cost a bit but it'll probably save your teins, maybe your neck.

are you gonna go to the club run on sunday? might be a good opportunity to tweak them a little... im sure none of the guys would mind the time on some windy roads .. or mind offerring any advice at the time. i havent played with any of my adjustments yet cause the KW's just seemed good when the alignment was right, but i might use the opportunity to play with some settings too...if its sunny :-)

(my back end felt loose when my front alignment was out cause the coilovers had extra camber adjustment that isn't on the factory shocks.... and i didn't point it out to the aligners. I ended up going 3 seperate places including a specialist suspension place before it got worked out)

Yeah the guy who did the alignment put the cambertops in, I won't be able to make the Sunday run as I have other plans, might have to bring it to one of the runs and get someone to drive it so they can compare what's happening.
And your saying the back end was loose cause the front alignment was out? What specialist place did you take it too, everyone says they are specialists until you see them scratching their head, its happened so many times its not funny...

Btw this only happens at high speed like 70k plus..freeway driving etc... at slower speeds everything seems normal.
