Coilovers installed now car feels funny lol - rear end feels like its swaying around

I'd be withholding judgement until you've given everything a chance to bed in and you've gotten that wheel alignment.

what coilovers as well? new or used?

remember harder doesn't necessarily mean better and you might want to back off the damping on the shocks again before you drive it as "tightened right up" may close the valves and result in blown seals in your shocks... 
 
my advice would be set them to about half way, make sure each side is the same, get the alignment done... from someone really good!... and go from there.
 
as for factory sways, they're there for a reason, I know you CAN remove them, but in general unless you know what you're doing and why then you're way better off leaving them in as you'll need to adjust a bunch of other stuff to make up for removing them.
 
I got my coilovers and new sways in and the car didn't feel as good either, and was VERY tail happy, took it to get it aligned twice and saw no real improvement.. only just got it all fixed. And if you're adding any adjustment capacity the standard suspension doesn't have, point it out to the aligner so they know to take it into account.
 
don't make massive drastic changed like closing off the valves in your shocks or removing swaybars before you've even got the alignment sorted or you'll probably end up breaking things, crashing, or making things worse.

 also the stock sway bars haven been removed. any reason i should be keeping them on as well???

So the swaybars have or have not been removed?
 the swaybar job is to reduce that "side to side" movement, and I personally wouldn't substitute them for overly stiff springs and shocks. 

thats a relief... removing swaybars sounded drastic.
 
anyways make sure when you get the alignment done they know about the roll adjusters and if theres any camber/KPI adjustment in the coilovers as theres not in the stock suspension so they wont be looking for it.
 
and soften up your damping a bit before you blow your shock seals.

i had them from a while ago and put them in cause the suspension was being changed thinking they might help with the car being low and all.
 
i tried to soften the dampers but the little clicker things just unscrew out from the top of the coilovers, any idea how to make them work again
it has a small nut like contaption at the end. might have to use small pliers on it im guessing. hard to explain

yeah ian ive seen this post and few others but cant make any sense cause everyones opinion is differeing.
i will see how i go at the alignment shop if they think i dont need it i will remove it i guess.
just thought it might help installing it while i have the suspension changed over, as it was just sitting in the shed lol
