RdS - Thanks man. No where as neat as yours. But I'm trying :)

Senor_2 - The pipes are all yours if you want them? Need any measurements? Can bring along to the next meet if you like?

Cheers Dasic1

Fredhoon - Yep, that is exactly the look I'm going for. As stock gen3 as possible. It wouldn't make sense to try and adapt the factory airbox or intercooler so will have to live with that.

If you can be bothered let me know the diameters of the openings, but looks like they will work going off the TB end etc. If you can bring them to the next meet that will be great, cheers.

Been a while since I've updated this thread, then again not much has changed.

Recent purchases not yet installed.
Berk Gen3 3in Down pipe. Not sure if I will install this now or wait till a CT20b becomes available to replace the CT26 which is currently fitted.

APEX 30mm Lowered springs for AW11. Bought these today brand new for $50 (Bargain!) from South Australia. These springs are made in Holland and are specifically designed for AW11s unlike the saggy king springs on it at the moment. These should enable the car to sit level and slightly higher than it is right now. Research leads me to believe these springs will work well.

OEM Front ball joints x2
OEM Front roll bar bushes x2

Bought a Canon 60D SLR camera recently for a holiday we went on so I can finally take some decent shots of the car. I have alot to learn no doubt when it comes to producing great car shots.

Peace out

didnt think the gen 3 dump pipes fitted onto a gen 2.
speak to RDS about taking pics of a AW11 he seems to have it all sorted pretty nicely.

Ahh the engine is a gen3. The previous owner replaced a blown ct20b with a ct26 :(
Yeah RDS does have it sorted.

Purchased some more items in the last day or two. Some more power mods :)

An excellent condition Ct20b which was rebuilt in Japan. Zero shaft play in any direction. Very clean!
KO Racing intercooler 7.5in fan and shroud.
Kirk AW11 engine mount inserts.
1/8 BSPT brass adapter to install an AW11 oil pressure sender into the Gen3 3sgte head. (Currently have the standard gen3 oil pressure switch but I'd like the gauge cluster oil pressure to work as it should)

Love that you're working on all the finer details on this car. It's a keeper!

I do plan to keep it for a while Jay. I'm getting really attached to it :)
After this next round of mods power should be heading up towards my goal for this car of 200KWs atw with excellent spool. I think the car weighs 1100kgs so with 200 on tap it should get down the road with ease :)
To hit 200 I'll need to get a 3in exhaust built and most likely a tuned stock ecu (Blitz, Sard, Mines etc) or power fc.

Hey Shane, thanks for the kind words. Have been following your Supra on Fakebook for a while now. Quite a beast compared to when you first bought it!

I'd stick to the stock ecu if I were you. A lot less fuss. With 15psi & the exhaust you mentioned, has a chance of hitting 200 depending on dyno. Wouldn't recommend a tuned ROM, simply not designed for AU.

Yeah I'm not 100% on a tuned rom. I could use United 100 RON fuel which would help.

I'll most likely put the turbo and downpipe on and run 15psi or so.
Then get the 3in exhaust done from the DP back, pop it on the dyno and check afr whilst turning the boost up to 18psi. If its close to 200 i'll leave it or if its around 180-190 i'll go a power fc (or tuned rom if cheap) for the final few KWs :)

Agreed you'd need to go full aftermarket, or something flexible enough to adjust maps with when needed, Power FC might be suitable here?
Keeping an eye on this thread, stuff like this keeps me sane whilst my car is off the road.

To further add to the discussion, if you don't go with the stock ECU (which I still think you should), skip the Jap boxes (including FC) & go straight for a Haltech with flex sensor. That'll throw you well past the 200rwkw target & allow the flexibility you desire. Not enough power to require a large fuel system change either (maybe 800cc drop ins will do with your existing pump).

Imagine that.......~225rwkw with epic response in an AW11! Even the V6CamryMR2 boys would appreciate it.

Sounds good Jay. Only problem is that after buying the ecu, loom and sensor, wiring it and tuning it, a fair bit of cash will have been spent.
I don't want to go overboard this time like I did on the last car haha.  I'll see what the stock ecu does and go from there i think.
