Nick your car really dose look nice. Everything you do to it seems to set it off perfectly. Maybe I am becoming a little biased or just falling in love with AW11's

Thanks for the kind words. You probably have had an MR2 long enough now to start getting obsessed in them. I also suffer from this condition :)

Nice birthday present from my Wife :) Just gotta purchase some rails (Bride or Recaro) for the AW11. They currently have Hilux Surf factory recaro rails fitted.

Cheers! Just starting to clean them up now. Might replace a side bolster foam or two before I put them in.

More new bits on their way. These Front + Rear Whiteline sway bars were bolted up to an AW11 but never driven. Not many suspension parts left now that have not been replaced with new OEM components or improved aftermarket.

So when you swapping the ct26? Only remaining kink in the armour.

Yeah not sure what direction i'm going to take on that one. Either a rebuilt steel turbine ct20b (To match a Berk Gen3 DP I have here) or extend myself to a 3071 kit (possibly the internal wastegate version ATS racing sells) I have also been toying with the idea of fitting a 2grfe as the majority of the work has already been done for that conversion. (body engine mounts, E153 box and shifter cables, fuel pump, 3in exhaust) A new engine mount design enables the belt routing to a top mounted supercharger (Aurion TRD style) which would make it nuts! Not sure if it would be able to pass engineering though being a 3.5L Supercharged in 1050kg car??? As the ct26 is still working okay I'm hesitant to spend money replacing it atm. What do you think I should do?

Nothing wrong with the 3S, I'm sure its ballsy enough @ that weight. Just swap the tarby to:
GTX28 rally potato CT20B K1 PE1919T CT27
GT3071 too big for that kinda application.
Be nice to keep it cheap, reliable responsive & pulling to redline.

Yes I am of the same opinion as you Jay. As much as its tempting to make big HP numbers, (again) a responsive engine in a little car is lovely. I am thinking I'll get a bolt on style turbo 20b, PE or K1. A rebuilt 20b with steel wheel and billet compressor wheel is available these days and with a Power FC will pass 200rwkw easy at 20psi.

There is an unused rebuilt steel wheel c20b on mr2oc.com for US$800. Love where you are going with this car mate.
