^ What bike was that Dudeman?? Not many bikes I know have ABS (yet) I can only think of a couple including the new Honda CBR600RR. I guess that's one of the reasons I try and avoid the wet on a bike.

Beemer rt1150.
Very nice to ride. I thought I was going to die at that moment, no more road bikes for me.

the ABS activating below about 10kph sounds like a faulty sensor. as the car speeds up the signals are close enough not to activate but when the car slows if the sensor skips a beat every now and then the abs sees it as a lock and activates.

Mine was doing this... the sensor read nearly perfectly but not quite right... brand new sensor and it fixed it.

it's not always the sensor though... if people have been playing with it it could be down to damage to the "teeth" (or magnets) the sensor reads.. or it could be down to a loose wire somewhere causing the same effect.

^^ mate has a beamer R1200.. i thought i broke it when i first started it and all the lights came on for ABS and traction etc. etc. nice bikes though.

Is there any way to aftermarket "tune" or recalibrate the ABS system?
