FOR SALE TRD 300km/hr cluster

Hi all needing some cashso im wanting to get rid of this cluster. Its an electric model never been used in my car and is just collecting dust so need it gone.
Please take it off my hands :)

    The change to electronic speedos happened fairly early, I can't remember when exactly. My car (1991 model) has a mechanical speedo, you could just check for the stiff speedo cable tube that comes out of the gearbox (at the back I think) and runs along the left side of the engine bay on the strut tower. If you have wires coming out of the gearbox, instead of the cable, then it's electronic.

    Mine's 1990, so is almost certainly mechanical...  Shame _ i considered thids thing, especially for when th V6 turbo goes in., but I have white dials now and have grown fond of them ,especialy in the night when they light up blue!! geek, I know...

    how hard is it to change from mechanical to electronic???
     
    theres a speed feedback to the factory ECU too right???

    Change isn't too difficult mate. You need to find an electric sender for your gearbox (the mechanical and electric ones are interchangeable so it will plug in fine). And yes there is a SPD pin in the body loom. If this is not plugged in you get the engine light come on if the engine revs to more than like 2500rpm for more than 3 seconds. It's easier to stick with mechanical though!
