Agree with Richard, better brakes will help a lot. I would like to come along and help at the hillclimb. Can load up the van with plenty of gear for mechanical and social requirements!
Marquee/BBQ/Tables and chairs etc.

I think that Kojab was attempting a dad joke!
Thanks mate that will be great. Evo Steve will be coming too. I'll check my Rydges booking to ensure that there are 3 beds.

I'm not joking about the brakes! Shame we cannot set up my brakes on your car to see what the difference would be.
Rydges sounds good. Will sit down in a week or two get everything organised.
I think I still have a radio set up which we can use. Could be handy.
Do you have a 'race net'? Is it a requirement?

Race net isn't required. It is just a supersprint and hill climb, so there will be street cars.
My brakes stop the car very well!

I think you do not need to upgrade your brakes for super sprints and hill climbs. Just need the best pads you can get for it. If you where doing endurance racing then willwoods brake kit ect.

I found a front strut brace on the Interwebs. I'm very happy with it. Great fit!
It only cost me $178 delivered.

Hello fans! This is the start of my front aero mods. The first step is to get the air coming through the radiator to exit through the bonnet. A positive side effect is weight reduction.

Hi Glenn,
Did you have a choice where to duct the air out of the bonnet, or where you limited in the bonnet choices with vents that you could get? I'm thinking with the aerodynamics, the further forward the vent the more the downforce gain is working on the front axle and not the rear. What you have is pretty similar to an Elise or GT40, but Porsche has it further forward on its 911s (leaves more boot space that way too).
