I have the limit set as I don't have unlimited disk space and the larger the file, the slower they are for people to download - particularly for threads with lots of pictures. I'll make a suggestion to the developer of this software to maybe include an auto compression feature to keep file sizes down.

Admin, New website is getting better and now minimal bugs! Your efforts are appreciated. Thanks. However, I note that I have been demoted in the transfer of data. It shows me as having joined 7/4/2011 when I have been a member since late 2004. Also my post are listed as 58 when more like 750. No big deal and there may be reason for this but just wished to point out that there may be issue with past history? cheers Steve

All of the transferred users have a join date of 7/4/2011 as that is when I transferred the data across from the old forum. The migration process isn't an officially supported thing so there were quite a few problems that I needed to fix manually. I figured that this was a minor thing and didn't need fixing. Regarding the number of posts, I think this is based on the number of un-archived posts from the old forum rather that the total number of posts.

Glenn, I am about to throw my PC out the freakin window. Just spent an hour typing and attaching images for an almost endless amount of **** I want to get rid of... Now, somehow, I hit back, or backspace, or whatever, and lost the entire post. Yes, you stupid iiidddioot. Anyway, what really ****s me is the fact that it shows every image (like, 100 of) in its entirity whilst I am trying to compose my post. Now, this annoys the hell out of me and hitting the attach image, typing the address and hitting the button really ****s me. Is there a way to disable this, so I see only the image link (like the old forum) in my composition? If this cant be done, are there any tags I can use to encase an image HTML so I can compose my post in notepad and paste it over. I've got my crankies on now.

☄ Helpful
You can still use IMG tags just like in the old forum. You can host your pics elsewhere like a lot of the guys do and then just type your message in Notepad and put the IMG tags around your picture addresses

Strange... is anyone else having problems accessing some pages. Is scripting running on the page headers? not sure where it's coming from. Tried dumping active x and anti-malware settings, but still persists..

It's probably just me, but what has happened to the old "Show threads with new posts since last visit" option?

Is there a way when you can choose the time frame of new posts to be displayed? IE in the old forum, you could choose show new posts from last log on, last 6 hrs, last 2 days etc. I cant find this in the new forum. Cheers

I've subscribed to a couple of the forums, but I don't get the instant notification I'm used to. Is it me?...

A couple of things.. I used the quick reply box and got this Server Error in '/MR2play' Application. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Source Error:
The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL:
1. Add a "Debug=true" directive at the top of the file that generated the error. Example:
<%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" %>
or:
2) Add the following section to the configuration file of your application:
<configuration> <system.web> <compilation debug="true"/> </system.web> </configuration>
Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode.
Important: Running applications in debug mode does incur a memory/performance overhead. You should make sure that an application has debugging disabled before deploying into production scenario. Stack Trace:

when I was trying to ask this: I've subscribed to a couple of the forums, but I don't get the instant notification I'm used to. Is it me?... So I still no closer to knowing why this is happening, Nick
