well I found it to be quite arrogant. he could have asked if I knew. point is im desperately searching for a part on a car that is rare. so why wouldnt I post on an old thread if there is a chance of getting what I need?

Like I said in the PM , this is the worldwidenets, gotta take things at face value, a thin skin doesn't really help when reading posts which may be interpreted in several ways.

clearly respect and manners is something that is overlooked also mrturbo. 2 things that are essential in an open forum. Your comment was insulting even if you meant nothing by it. ive spent the last week searching for this part and i dont need someone telling me 1) something that is irrelevant to my post and 2) completly unhelpful. Apology accepted.

Respect to me is something that is earned, not automatically given. What other positive input have you provided this forum and its members apart from a few posts asking for parts and an overreaction and subsequent rant, referring to a post where I was simply trying to be helpful. I think you need to look in the mirror.

Here is my positive input Mr turbo, just for you. Don't assume someone hasn't looked at the date of the thread just because others in the past have not. Ask the question "are you aware this thread is almost a year old?" Your post was Arrogant in that you skipped the question and automatically inferred in a sarcastic condescending manner that i am not smart enough to look at that for myself, an insult to my intelligence. In a forum where text is the only manner of communication, correct grammar and respect, yes respect regardless of who is on the receiving end, is absolutely vital. You stepped on my toes and i retaliated, obviously you don't like like that, but to bad. There are consequences to everything we say and do. This one, is very small.
