I gave my 2 cents worth to one of the organisers about Broadford being the choice, and apparently there is talk it will be lengthened considerably also  should they go that way.

Sorry I could not make it , I am planning on being there in November......hopefully I will be able to give you some competition then.

Hi All,
 
Just a reminder to all that the 6th round of the VHC is on this coming weekend June 2/3 at Haunted Hills.
 
Official practice on saturday with competitive runs on Sunday.
 
There will definatly be 2 MR2's attending..SW20 Turbo and AW11 N/A
 
It would be great to see a few members there to support the " Victorian Hillclimb Assault Team"

Bryant Park VHC Round 6 Results
 
 
Round 6 was conducted in very cold but dry conditions until the last run when the heavens started to open.....the clockwise figure 8 circuit was used and what fun it was... a small field of 61 entries contested this round, there were several 'off's' during the day but nothing major.
 
MR2's were represented by 2 cars with both drivers having a good day......
 
Wayne Hunter SW20 Turbo Gen 3.... 69.68 sec...... 5th in class......39th outright
 
Wayne Walker AW11 N/A.................66.94 sec......1st in class......27th outright

DECA VHC Round 7 Results
 
Wayne Hunter SW20Turbo   37.67    4th in Class       29th Outright
 
Wayne Walker AW11 N/A     37.19    3rd in Class       28th Outright
 
What a great day was had at DECA the sun was shining and the competition was close, a small field attended but there were many close battles. While DECA is not a long climb it is technicial with 2 chicanes added to slow the cars down it presents a great challange. It would be nice if we could get more competitors along to next years round there.
