Yeah, I remember Lisa has a pic of a mountain bike in her passenger seat and sticking out of the top.

pull the passenger seat out for a fraction extra room.. its only 4 bolts ;)
as the others said though, have another car. but in saying that, i have two other cars with laarge boots, pay three rego's a year, and still went and picked up a full rear bumper and reo in my aw11 the other week. i just cant help it. if it can possibly fit in the AW11, its my car of choice. :)

I have no problems with space in my adub. 4 bolts and the passenger seat is out. about 5 mins to fit a custom cage in its place. Well more of a cargo barrier that bolts into the seat holes to prevent anything flying across into my lap.

Mr. Ken, you should not stuff gf into the boot. Yes, it does cut down on cabin noise but it can make them angry.

Buy less stuff! I've never needed to carry around more than what the MR allows.

sure was haha. me and my gf used to live in australia, and we holidayed there pretty often... she liked the beach, i liked to surf, and it was a good excuse for me to play on the great ocean road and stalk xr6 turbos.
LOLOLOL small world huh !
ah that aw11 was fun.... most unreliable car i ever owned, but also the best... who cares about luggauge space when i car is that fun.

+1 for another car, go the almighty lumbering falcon lol... there's no way I'd want to be putting my muddy mtb and other stuff in my 2! Although it probably could be done I remember reading somewhere on one of the other mr2 forums that one guy fitted 5 passengers in his car at once, one in the boot, one behind each seat and two in the passenger seat! They must've been pretty damn skinny though

I'm not suprised that it was unreliable, there were so many things wrong with the car when you sold it to me [xx(] But then I fixed it up, and it hasn't skipped a beat since. Still not practical though... I feel a little bit dumb for supplementing my impractical AW11 with another AW11 [88] But hey, life is short etc.

meh enjoy it man. dont feel dumb, you can never have too many aw11s lol. nothing beats an mr2.
i dont drive and i have no need to drive... but part of me keeps trying to buy another aw11... although it would cost me about 300 AUD per month to garage it at my appartment. T__T
no matter how impractical they are... something just draws me to them. freaking dammit !!

i can confirm this also. i had fit two girls (aprox 42-44kg, average height) in the passenger seat once before, thats easy tho.
welldone to the guy jezza mentioned, as well as to jezza. so much win.
