Might have to avoid that area if the cops are arse clowns there.
It was just a couple of kilometres north of that horrific accident near Fitzroy Falls on Saturday around 2.30pm where one person was killed and another seriously injured. When I drove on from my altercation with the cop I came across that accident shortly after it happened apparently. I don't think the cop was aware of this fatal accident at that time otherwise he would have mentioned it to me to back up his foul demeanour.

But wiz, how fast were you going before you spotted the cop 200m ahead?
To admit to any more than what he has already said would be foolish.
What, do you think that the cop is going to read this and decide to chase him up with a fine?[88]
Doubtful, but someone could always pass it on to him.
Ha ha, yeah i'm sure that chain of evidence would be laughed out of court for a 10kph speeding ticket.[88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88][88]
Tell that to this guy http://www.cbc.ca/canada/toronto/story/2010/08/10/facebook-speeding-conviction658.html

I could pm him. But I think its been covered. There are the occasional rogues out there (as with most industries). if you are unfairly treated then you might want to consider making a complaint.

the police is just mad he lives in Victoria. almost everyone who lives in Victoria are mad at the fact they live in Victoria. Victorians (as a whole) are too apathetic to do anything about the way they live. if they were not apathetic (as a whole) then they would all just leave Victoria and flood the better states, and countries.
even i used to be mad, so i moved back tokyo. dont have to worry about cars or speeding tickets, or immigrants undercutting me at my own job etc.

serious? I love Victoria/Melbourne! I'd pick it in a heartbeat to live in followed by Brisbane then Sydney. So we have govt who collects a lot of money through fine, big deal, dont speed, its not like we like in Iraq or a country that has REAL problems. Also I like how you said you dont have to worry about immigrants undercutting you at your job so you then moved BACK to Tokyo implying you yourself were an immigrant here.

I wish i could find this bloody letter.
Heres my story.
I was driving through oakhill (castle hill) and there were some police on the side of the road right outside oakhill primary school. I think they were investigating a public disturbance or something but as i was driving towards them (slowly i might add because i saw them from a mile away, i had to come down the hill and they were parked half way up the other side of the hill.) Back to the story, as i was driving towards them one of them ran out waving her arms gesturing me frantically to stop.
Wondering what i had done wrong i pulled over and the man quite angrily came over and said. WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!??!
and i said: uhh. driving to my friends house?
and he said. how fast do you think you were going??
and i said: i dont know.. i was watching the road not my speedo, but i would say the speed limit. (and i regret saying this next part) the fastest i coudl have been going was maybe.. 55kmph?
now it was a weekend so there was no school zone and the speed limit was 50kmph.
the cop said nothing and went back to his car. He came back with a fine for 55 kmph in a 50 zone. I swear to god. I was not being a smart ass. for those who have met me im not the type to be a smart ass. I said thats ridiculus, i was just guessing, im not even sure if i was speeding.
So he said take it up with court. so i sent the people a letter saying he didnt have a gun on me. he was stationary and he couldnt of been able to accurately take my speed.
i got a letter back a month later saying. "a Police officer is trained to be able to accurately estimate speed without a measuring instrument"
Once i read this thread i tried to find that bloody letter so i can scan it in but i think i chucked it out. and i thought that is the biggest bullpoo poo of all time.
anyway this was back when 0-10 was still 3 demerit points and i lost three points on my green Ps leaving me on 4. just tinkign abotu it makes me angry. but i got to admit ive met alot of nice coppers, i guess i just got unlucky.

no matter what speed you were going you should have made something up that didnt incriminate you. dont worry if it looks bad. bullpoo poo till the end.
"i was watching the speedo the whole time and i didnt stray above 43kph actually."

thats right i was an immigrant in Melbourne. by stating that i shown how easy it is for immigrants to undercut locals, and each other. i couldnt go to a swimming pool in summer without having to feel unsafe by rowdy youth. even to go night club, its really dangerous. Melbourne is famous as a stabbing place. about govt who collects fines. i dont care, actually the OPPOSITE, i felt unsafe on the roads due to people aged between 30 and 55 and their arrogant "im invincible i can drive like an crazy person" attitudes.. i wish there was 10 times the amount of police and speed cameras in Melbourne. drivers need to grow the freak up and stop playing with fire, cars are dangerous, stop endangering people so they can ATTEMPT to get home one min early... freak they live in such a small city, its not like they actually have fun things to do. as gordon ramsey said "Melbourne is the ass end of the world" it really is a toilet bowl where somebody has added every culture, stirred them around, let simmer and fight amongst themselfs, and degenerate to the point of rudeness becoming the social norm, and violence a common thing. as for you saing its not like it has REAL problems, not so. infrastructure is freaked, roads cant cope with the amount of peoplem trains... well lol need i say more, trams that share roads with cars, not enough car parking in important areas, current unemploment rates are bad yet they let more and more people in, the rising crime rates, the decaying values of society... there is just so so many huge problems. hell i know this is a small thing to most people, but get this... i made a 12 hour trip back to australia, and i was in a elevator, as the doors opened, a kid and his dad walked in before i got out, i just stood there in shock, then they moved back and i got out, the dad said to his son "dont worry its ok u did nothing wrong".... ha it set me off so bad, i walked back got in the elevevator and stated... "no you and your son both did something wrong, see im supposed to get out of the elevator, then you come into the elevator, we call it common decency... as far as telling your son he did nothing wrong, you are the reason for the decaying social values of Melbourne, all it takes is one generation of hopless parents, and they stuff up the next generation of kids, who well, they are the blind and they will be leading the blind, the next generation deteriorates even more"... i said it in THE most reasonable and nicest tone, and he then given me the typical melbournian response of "ha you cant tell me what to do, this is a free country" in an angry voice.... i just told him hes a lost cause and to keep living in Victoria, just dont come to other places and infect them. i learned if you ever get in an arguement with an AVERAGE melbournian parent, just patronise them, they respond with agression in 90% of times, so just patronise them in a non agressive way again... sets them right off and gives man LULZ. dont get me wrong, i dont feel like a hero for doing that... i feel like justice, although im not enough to go around. so i wish others could just man up and tell everyone off for being rude, maybe it could make a difference, even if it doesn't, at least you tried. anyways as a fellow ex Victorian, i hope im able to snap some people out of their apathy. but its not easy work, it IS Victorians im talking too >_<... so i give up.

I had an encounter one late night a couple of years ago, I was going home from work after staying back to get some work finished for a deadline.
It was in the early A.Ms on a weeknight and this was back in my "hot hatch" days. I was on a multi-lane, divided road and there was no other traffic or people around. Needless to say I was about 20km/h over the limit (Not defending myself, but I was overworked, fed-up and just over it). A cop car pulls out from a side street on the other side and spots me. They dropped a u-bolt, chased me down and pulled me over. Now I'm terrible at lying and didn't want to make the situation worse...so I owned up and admitted my actual speed. The officer actually looked pleased I didn't try to give him any B.S, so he headed back to his car, talked to his partner for a bit and then he just told me to "take it easy and SLOW DOWN". End of story.
I was quite lucky to have a reasonable officer on that occasion but being honest and reasonable meant I got the same treatment in return.
