Thanks for the image surok. Makes more sense now.

Because I like cars, and despite having no knowledge of them, I'm naturally a very good driver (as arrogant as that may sound, it's true). I also love having something of my own to customize etc.
I don't have a house to furnish and buy things for, so I do it to a car instead [:P]

No one with neons on/in their car is a good driver. Also, how do you learn? You always throw away our comments and tips and say you're wonderful mechanic will take care of everything. Look at the great job hes done on your car.

Also, best thread ever....yet such a waste of time...

What's wrong with neons? It's not like I drive around with them on all the time. Just like I've got a subwoofer. Doesn't mean I go around with my windows down pumping it etc.

My girlfriend likes to see her feet/bag etc. and that's the main reason I got them. Secondly because I feel more comfortable driving at night with a bit more light in the cabin, especially at my feet.

I always listen to you guys. Maybe I don't always act on what you've said (for whatever reason) but I usually do.
Dasic1 said to go to Track Right. I got there eventually [:P] Just give me time.
Full time work + recording a professional album + high maintenance girlfriend = I'm a busy guy!

your girlfriend likes to see her feet and bag, so you have neons in the drivers side footwell?

if my girlfriend said "i want blue neons in the footwell so i can see my feet while you drive."
i would dump her.
does she think her feet dissapear when the lights are off?

she would have the best fun playing peekaboo..

A good driver is like a lady,

if you need to tell people you are one, then your not.

Every second thread I create turns into a **** storm like this [:P] Same goes for most of my facebook statuses lol. Me + computers are not a good combo. I come across as a massive tool! Well that's what everyone says anyway. I fail to see it most of the time.

Of course! I'm getting a wheel alignment next week and once I know everything is A-OK I will be dropping some decent cash into the car.

That includes:

New gearbox
New clutch
Resolve coolant leak
Minor rust removal + bodykit fitment + front guards flared
PP Exhaust
Rear strut brace

And *maybe* REV6 headlights. My workmate is getting a set and with combined postage + the strong dollar it would work out quite cheap!

Then I will start sussing out the minor oil leak because it's not bad at all.

Oh and I'm getting 22" chromies and underbody neons [:x)]

What are you talking about? [:P] I'm serious. I'm getting altezza tail lights and 10 dvd screens too! [:O]

But seriously, have you copped **** about your neons too? I wonder how many other members have them.

I've never copped **** for having them. But then again this is the first time I've mentioned them lol. I honestly did grow up with the fast and the furious etc.. But yeah there's only a level of "rice" I'd put on my car :P

before you pour too much money into the body work and exterior styling i'd suggest also getting a leakdown test and some good maitainance done on the engine, as you say it's been thrashed a fair bit since you got it. do you kinow how many k's since timing belt waterpump etc were changed?

as while your getting the gearbox done it'd only coast marginally more in labour costs for them to drop the entire motor and do timing belt side of things at the same time as compared to doin it seperately another time.
