if you replaced everything... why was the strut looking so shagged as seen by it leaking oil?

Thanks for the image surok. Makes more sense now.

Because I like cars, and despite having no knowledge of them, I'm naturally a very good driver (as arrogant as that may sound, it's true). I also love having something of my own to customize etc.
I don't have a house to furnish and buy things for, so I do it to a car instead [:P]

Secondly, i actually replaced the rear struts after the hit, including the hub, control arms and pretty much darn everything.

I put crash bolts in to get it into line as much as we could however it STILL had positive camber on the rear after all of the above.

I doubt a wheel alignment corrected this issue

Don't worry, I'm calm [:P] The tongue face was indicating that I was joking.

+1 for what surok said though. The struts in the car look 10+ years old.

They do do wheel alignments there not sure why they would recommend someone else. Who was it?

Can't even remember the name. I was just like "yup" and forgot 5 minutes later [:P] Hopefully Dave knows though. Basically they just told me not to go to any old tyre shop and instead get it done properly.

They have recently moved workshop though. Maybe the new place doesn't have wheel alignment gear.

People who usually say they are good drivers are usually the worst!! Maybe its time to start reading some books and learn how cars work??

Honestly, and this isn't knocking Jezza. I find that people who know cars are the best drivers...

If I didn't want to learn more about cars, I wouldn't be here.

In a recent thread, you guys introduced the concept of double-clutching to me. I learned it within half an hour and after a few days it was second nature.
Despite common belief, I take in everything you guys say and absorb it. I have learned a ridiculous amount from this forum and hopefully someday I will be fairly knowledgeable about cars. Until then, please bear with me and my stupid antics.

And when I said 'very good driver', I mean I'm safe, responsible and have good control of a vehicle. My dad is exactly the same so I guess it runs in the family [:P] He loves cars too but knows even less than me about them! [:O]

EDIT: Removed the bit where I sounded like an absolute w@nker.

It is usually, but I brush it aside when I have a point to make!!! [:P]

So I apologise for my less than humble post above [:I]

I was driving my Mums manual G100 Charade in peak hour traffic with only 2 hours up my sleeve...
I'm humble too xD
Difference is, I am a God =P

But I also know people who LOVE cars fanatically and I don't trust them enough to ride in the passenger seat (even when they're claiming to drive safe and statically)

No one with neons on/in their car is a good driver. Also, how do you learn? You always throw away our comments and tips and say you're wonderful mechanic will take care of everything. Look at the great job hes done on your car.
