9.5l/100km generally enthusiastic suburban driving Got 7.1l/100km on a highway run to Sydney during the day. The pop lights knocked it up to over 8 by my calculations. N/A engine on 98RON.

Do the pop-up lights really make a difference? That's interesting. Maybe I should convert to Celica headlights lol

hmmm i get around 7.5 L/100km so approx 700KM per tank (that's the most i've pushed my luck)
that's spirited driving on tassie backroads down the east coast (reasonably twisty, lots of corners and hills) with a GT3076 at 14psi.

Would a solid tune rectify the fuel sucking or would there be negligible benefits in the fuel economy department? I'll end up with a GT307soemthing more than likely. Just needing to summon up the courage to go to the bank lol.

Well closed loop pretty much looks after itself, with a good O2 sensor, so I guess it comers down to tuning & driving style. You'll never make good fuel economy with a stock ECU and higher boost. Got that Haltec running yet? Any of you guys checked your pod filter cartridge lately-:) Maybe there should be a GB on O2 sensors & Apexi filters

I still need to blow out the crap from my filter yet - I know it needs doing just CBF playing with that ba$1ard metal clip on the AFM cable. Haltech is still keeping my jocks warm in the drawer where it's been for the last 2 years. :)
