If these things stand up to the test of time I'll be pretty keen on one.

I've been running mine for about a month now. I also changed my exhaust to a fujitsubo though, so i dont have a direct noise comparison.
So far, things are fine. the bracket was a little fiddly to bolt up properly, but is still nice and tight. The flange is still sealing fine at the turbo and the B pipe, and i haven't found any cracks. I dont have any emissions testing up here, so i cant comment on that.
overall, fairly impressed... and happy with the peace of mind that it offers. at the very least for those immediate flashlight checks.

yeah mines ok too i noticed my exhaust is a lil bit louder but not too bad. i thought mine had a crack but its turned out ok and was just a welding problem i thought was a crack. also found the bracket a bit fiddly but it finally went in the proper way i havent got the proper tools for these kind of jobs at home so im sure my B pipe is leaking somewhere where its joined to the dump or even at the turbo s iil figure it out later otherwise ok
cheers

zmit/purple5ive, what is the fitment of the dump pipe like?
I've seen a few ebay ones that have been a little off and require a bit of movement in the exhaust flex joint or a fair bit of work to fit properly; trying to decide between either a Berk Tech, custom made using a 3" Metalcat I have or one of these (which are a good amount cheaper!)

in regards to fitment i had a custom B pipe made up to use with this dump pipe because previously i had a B pipe with an inbuilt cat converter i had the new B pipe made while i was still running the older style ebay spec dump pipe i then replaced the older ebay spec one with the new ebay spec one with cat converter and they lined up 95% i then just adjusted the B pipe with the nice new flex to suit the new dump. turbo side everything lines up well from the looks of things and bolted on without any hassel hope that helps.

same here, typical grinding out of the wastegate side of the turbo flange was required, but other than that, mine lined up pretty well. i had more trouble mounting my fujitsubo with a bent exhaust mount...

Real thing to look out for is the flow rate of their cat. I don't think they give any specs on the cat..do they? If it's a ceramic core it will flow ~40% less than a metal cat of the same core size & cell rating. Plus it's a considerable drop in cross-sectional area from the OEM cat..just a thought. The good ceramic ones that size are around 200 CFM. So any noticeable drop in performance or spool might be worth looking at.

they advertise as 120 cells per inch, i had a 100 cpsi metallic cat and i think the spool was a bit better with it on. but i could be wrong but i must say mettalic cats have only recently started coming out till then its been ceramic and even then just hiflow not 120 cpsi so i guess its better than nothing. the ultimate test will be when the cat gets a lil bit clogged with prolonged use thats when power is going to suffer we will wait and see. ultimately if someone can come up with a way to incorporate a Mettalic 100 cpsi cat into a ebay /similar dump pipe then that would be the best bet i have a cat already and a cracked dump if anyone can provide free welding then im willing to sacrifice my parts....

Hmm thanks for the info purple5ive; I already have a cracked stainless dump that started to break even more when attempting to re-weld it as the steel was too thin and brittle. I'm starting to lean more towards a custom made dump using the Metalcat, most likely mild steel, ceramic coated with a support bracket

That would be the final solution, though maybe a little costly, no doubt worth it. When I installed a metal cat in the ATS pipe, we made a simple jig to bolt it into, cut the pipe & tack welded the cat in place before finishing..worked fine. I recall when the ebay DP's & manifolds first started to appear, some better known dealers were selling these under their own brand name, all be it with added bracing or some kind of modification (or none)..then the price went thru the floor. Anyhow, the only ones that seemed to overcome the cracking problem, were pipes that had gone through a 'normalising' process, were they were sent out to be heated in an oven to high temps for a period of time, to relieve metal stress.

unless you were adamant on keeping the stock ct26/20b i wouldn't spend too much on a dump, custom one with metal cat would easily cost over $500, and fitting a metal cat to a cheap ebay dump wouldn't solve the cracking problem.

I used one of these..at a slightly higher cost! Trimmed back the end tubes & spot welded a bracket on the body to brace to the block. No pic till I put it on the hoist.

are they ADR compliant or does no-one care, if i was going to spend decent money for a custom dump i'd want the cat to be legal
