Probably no response yet.
I was chasing up a downpipe and exhaust, he replied and simply said "no stock til 011"
Which could be November, or January 2011.
He didn't tell me which item/s...
So, I'm back in for this group buy.

Agree the berk is top quality, although this ebay one with cat is desirable if you ever need to go over pits etc. i am still a few weeks from putting engine back in so will wait to see if this group buy goes ahead, i am still in on this one. cheers

Ladies and Gents....
who was chasing this up?It appears that XS-power now have stock again.....
and the Aussie dollar is even stronger!!!
So, i'm happy to do the negotiating as long as there is somebody in Sydney/Melbourne that can take delivery (maybe even get the Gorilla guys in on it? Darwin isn't the best delivery point)

I purchased one of their catless ones a few years back when i built my engine, They do not have the lower bracket to prevent cracking. That said mine has not cracked, it spent the first year in the car with mummywrapping all over it with the old exhaust. When the new one was done it came out to get ceramic coatings, i did not notice any cracking in the product. It's been in the car for 2 years with the ceramic coating and no problem.
Mind you i was skeptical when i got mine and kinda was waiting for it to crack yet hoping it wouldn't.

Yeah, i'm a little skeptical, I currently have a second hand re-welded (MIG welded!) ebay special on my car at the moment... but it hasn't cracked after 6 months. so we'll see. My car seems to destroy everything else though.
for $140, its worth the added legality. (solo price)

Do we know when the buy will be happening? A friend will be in Sydney (I presume they are all getting delivered to Sydney?) in the next 2 to 3 weeks, if they arrive in time then I can get it picked up to save hassle of on postage to WA etc.

Well i'm in Darwin.... so really i figured Sydney or Melbourne would be the best places to do it.
once we have a contact in Sydney, we will start organising payment.
The guy said he can 'ship it tomorrow' but obviously we aren't organised enough for that.
to speed things up, i have family in Sydney that would be able to receive it. then we could start transferring money etc. to get this buy happening.
