not too sure if you can, but maybe drill through the other side and have a longer bolt to go through the whole cavity, and put a nut on the other end??

if that makes any sense..

Alex: Unfortunately the fuel tank is in the way and to do that I'd have to drop the tank, and we all know what a PITA that is right?

Tree: The other bolts are fine if that's what you mean? This is my front engine mount.

I ended up drilling a hole up from the bottom of the beam wide enough to get my die grinder into. From there I made the hole just large enough to get a new nut on the end of a magnet into position. A bit of grinding paste on the nut surface help it grab instead of just spinning when I put the bolt in. I wont be able to weld over the hole to cover it because that nut is going to fall off whenever that bolt is undone.

Couldn't you use a large nut set? How are the other threads held in, are they welded on the back?

Well here it is. It's ready to turn over. Everything's hooked up and the ECU reports all sensors are good. But I ran out of coolant this afternoon and I'll have to get some tomorrow. Got a bit frustrated by this and pushed the car out and gave it a quick wash. I'll have to go back later and give it a good polish, there's some areas that've copped a bit of a rough time while the car's been garaged on/off over the last 12 months.
