What's to say you will IF it is the flywheel? maybe the 'Precision Machining' place ruined it?
600 bucks seems excessive though

I wish it wasn't an IF. The box has to come off again. I'll go over the flywheel with a fine toothed combe this time, it wasn't the original suspect so it didn't get the attention that the pressure plate/release bearing did. I really want to find metal gouged out of the thing so I know for sure.

or head to a wreckers and try and pick up another second hand one and try that first? should be alot cheaper

3vz/1mz flywheels are rare as hell and wreckers will ask for $250 for them. I ended up getting an entire v6 manual camry wreck for $300.
Already done hotline 40, no responses at all. Twice.

Well best to get the flywheel off and examine it, then go from there.
