Doesn't sound good, not sure what engine mods you've got.... Possibly a broken ringland or something? Timing map doesn't mean much if you haven't checked timing against engine timing. Got a timing light to confirm?
I can have a look at my map also...

I think to run a 110-111mph it would have to have more than 187rwkw anyway And now I remember a while ago the dipstick did keep popping out but hasnt done it for a while.
Just pick up the compression tester so about to cheek it. Maybe I will have to speak to ATS soon about a 2.3
cylinders 1,2,4 are 150 psi and 3 is 100. Tried some oil down the spark plug hole and comp went up so pretty sure its the rings/pistons.

yeah sounds like the ring lands etc. possibly over a period of time.
the ATS comment made me laugh though. why on earth people don't build engines in this country and pay inflated prices to bring one from overseas amuses me.

Cant make out the timing maps. What scale is the load axis? If im correct, assuming the timing map is matching the actual timing. Its pretty aggressive mapping.
Just saw the thread. Sorry to hear about the engine.

MR2QIK I wanted to get a carbon fiber bonnet but not sure if id like it so instead of spending 2g+ too find out I just grabed another bonnet and used a carbon fiber vynle. My plan is to get a border hood now.
LMT Not sure what you mean by "scale is the load axis" Just whats on the left side of the pic 20% 40% 80% ect Im pretty sure the timing is correct to the engine. I got it as close as I could before I took it in but will double cheek

100% is atmospheric, 200% is 1 bar boost, from memory.
