DASIC1 SW20

I thought after being on the forum for a few years id start a showroom thread for my car.
It’s a 96 turbo, when I brought it back in 2001 it only had the wheels, some unknown struts, fujitsubo exhaust, arc blow off valve and a pod filter.
I’ve also fitted Tein super streets, whiteline adjustable sway bar, sway bar reinforcement plates, Polly bushings from two r us.
Stainless steel engine lid shroud from Totenkopf
Ebay cooler

These photos are pretty much how I brought it.

In this photo you can also see one of my old toys f250 7.3l turbo diesel.

And another toy I had

Upgraded the turbo to a trust t67

With old ct20

Stripped down for a retrim

Ebay exhaust

The car is currently off the road getting some some work done. Respray, new rims, skyline brake upgrade, another retrim and a Autronic ecu.

Very nice man! Not many genuine TYPE III + cars around. I love the colour! Steel mist grey was one of my preferences when I was importing my MR2 back in 2001.

I look forward to seeing how much you make with that T67 after a good tune.

When I was looking for a mr2 I wanted a black targa. Spent over a year looking for a good one and in the end I just wanted a mr2 and found this one. Didn't know anything about them being gen2 and 3 till after I joined the forum a few years ago so was just lucky.

No other pics of the stripped interior but its half back out atm so if theres something that you need just let me know.

Same here, I was looking for a black targa & was about to pay more for a Gen2 targa until I stumbled across mine in the newspaper classifieds (was cheaper too). I didn't even know I had a CT20B till I blew it [(#)]

Ive finished installing the Autronic now.
Just have to sort out the radiator fans, waiting for a ignition tune up kit to arrive then should be able to get it on the dyno next week

idles a bit ruff but drives ok.
