thats really really weird....
the background is blurry (not just DOF) but the car stands out and is pretty sharp.
it definitely brings out the wheels as well!

Yeah, the background is motion blurred. I'd guess the camera was moving (horizontally) while panning to keep the car in centre frame. It might have been taken from a moving car. However it was done it's a pretty cool effect and a great photo.

Camera shake would have blurred the car too. Look at the line at bottom centre of frame - it's motion blurred close to the camera but not near the car, and then blurred again behind the car.

Me too please I also would like a higher res version aswell of the blue one. That blue lighting effect looks awesome. Really want it as a wallpaper!

Everyone is buying fancy dslr gear now. Latest camera additions? A Zenit 12xp, Zenit-b and a holga 120. Also a bunch of flashes and slaves.
Now all I need is a car to start shooting again ahaha.
