I had 2 Olympus P&S's die on me, one of them the day my daughter was born, was not impressed. Thats when I moved up to the Nokin DSLR.

Ok boys....Just had my first practise with the new D90. LOVE IT!!! I'm a photography noobster & here's my first batch. This wasn't a serious attempt, just drove down the road & had a play around with the setting to try get my bearings with apperture, shutter speed/exposure & ISO. Shutter speed wasn't perfect for the conditions & ISO was WRONG. But a good first lesson for me. I'm excited to have another go in the future [}:)] Really liking this D90

Very nice indeed! I love the reflections. The first pic reminded me of the first fast and the furious movie (black car drives under the 18 wheeler).

Thanks Zmit. Hopefully in a few months/years time I'll be laughing at these pics like other photography fans do when they improve.

Lumix/EA99, the F&F pic was intended, but not original (copied shamelessly from other pics). I took it to be used as a base to learn photoshop (haven't even installed it yet). I did a tutorial on adding motion to car pics, so I'll be using that side pic to play with.

You could buy a circular polarising filter to cut down on the reflections too. Black is a beach to photograph.
