What do you mean? He sets up an intercooler fan for MR2's on the dyno to help tune or he has his on fan to connect to the cooler it self?

also, am i reading the dyno sheet correctly, did your turbo hit 30-35psi ?

he means dedicated fan for the outside of the car for the side vent whilst on the dyno.

the boost is cycling from 16 to 20 psi. i think your reading it wrong...

Any progress with this, did you get the boost controller sorted? What rpm did you hit full boost by the way?

Yes,Dylan went to Hitmans today.

Unfortunately he still had boost control problems.

BUT
Got it figured out and tuned.
You should hear its idle, very menacing.

The P-FC was not getting the knock sensor signal though.
(something to look into)
So the ignition was left on the conservative side.(yes there's more in it)

Anyway he seems pretty happy with the way it goes now,
with excellent boost control and a strong, smooth surge of power.

I'm sure he'll get a pic of the new dyno result up soon.

I wouldn't rely on the pfc knock sensor input anyway. Surely Hitman would make use of a chassis ear or similar device? So I assume his boost issue wasn't his controller and was something else? He better get the result up before I have to go out for dinner!

I need to get my car back to the dyno sometime soon. Its running damn rich at the moment. Like when you see those vid of jap drag cars that are leaving a nice trail of thick black/dark grey smog as they disappear down the track.

Post up ya results!

252.9rwkw. Sat in it for about 100+kms today. Great response, great power, good idle. I'm jealous.

hmmm... filthiest car in all MR2 history lol

I should so wash it once in a while...

So boost issue is sorted, but as Greg said the knock sensor ain't working so he didn't go too aggressively on the ignition timing.

It also heatsoaked like a biatch so when the top mount is done, after that i'm probably done...

To be honest, the way it drives now, 253rwkw is way more than enough to play with hahaha.

Love that torque curve mate. Mine drops off the power up high. Wish it was mapped vs RPM. This was a 4th gear pull? I'll have to calculate the ratio (are your tyres pretty near factory size?) and work it out for myself. Whats your revlimit set at?
