POSTED: 02/08/2006

After 4 months of being outta action, I've got the Mista back!

Brand spanking new paint job and front bar!

And some goodies getting put on in the very near future being this weekend:

Toyota scuff plates:

Tein SS coilovers:

And then a few more goodies being put on not this weekend but probably a month or so away:

Apexi Power FC:

and an ARC intercooler which I haven't quite yet been bothered to take outta the packaging to take a photo of hehe.

Some extra rice mods I put on the car today.... took suprisingly long... (probably coz I dropped a screw down the dash and had to take 1/2 of it apart to find it), but yeah, i'm happy with the results hehe.

And inside the car:

Just bought a set of these to go on!

Extra goodies being put on the car today by Paul Brell @ BD4s.

My ARC Intercooler and push and pull SPAL fans (which apparently Paul was talking to Trav about push/pull fan set ups just this morning!)

And also the extremely bling bling SARD dump & Cat combo. I honestly wouldn't have paid this much for a dump pipe except for some anal retentive with a severe deficiency in Vitamin E who keeps trying to report my car to the EPA for being too loud, so hence if I get EPA tested, I really don't want a no-cat fine....

New wheels have gone on!! Volk Racing F-Zero Challenge.

F: 17x8 +33 215/40/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3
R 17x9 +38 255/45/17 Bridgestone Potenza s-03

They're scrubbing everywhere tho =(

Going to have to raise the car a little and roll some guards i think!

Wheels fitted properly and higher res pics of them:

First tuning attempt:

YAY! Look at those waves!!! I think my car knows its summer and wants to go to the beach!! *sarcarm*

Boost controller issues.... tuning stopped 1/2 way though till i get a new boost controller, but by the look of things, I should be able to get between 270-280rwkw.

Posted - 02/11/2008

Tuning round 2:

So boost issue is sorted, but as Greg said the knock sensor ain't working so he didn't go too aggressively on the ignition timing.

It also heatsoaked like a biatch so when the top mount is done, after that i'm probably done...

To be honest, the way it drives now, 253rwkw is way more than enough to play with hahaha.

More toys. 45mm Omori electronic boost gauge to go inside the dash in place of the stock one!

2009 Christmas present for my car:

Posted - 15/01/2010

Body kit is finally on!! I'll take some real photos of it tomorrow out in the sun!!

Posted - 14/07/2010

Bought myself a border intercooler from japan with the engine lid shroud/fan.

Bit the bullet and bought some new wheels. Still in Japan, but should be here in the next shipment :)

SSR Professor SP1
17x8 +30
18x10 +49
Will be interesting to see if and how the fit!

Testing out some other wheels on the car:

TRD T3
17x7.5 +40
17x8.5 +40

So the silver SSR's i bought don't fit. The fronts dont have enough brake clearance and the rears are too high offset fouling the rear coilovers. They'd be fine with a 20mm bolt on spacer tho! But finally settled on a different set of SSR Professor SP1 wheels. These wheels are bang on for fitment, not much room either side of the coilovers nor the guards, but look sweet as:

SSR Professor SP1
18x8.5 +27 235/40 fronts
18x10 +37 265/35 rears

A pic from ToyotaFest 2011

Getting ready for summer, installed the Caldina ST215 manifold with the border top mount intercooler. Intake temps have dropped a good 6-7 deg from the side mount, but when it heatsoaks, it heat soaks pretty badly so I need to get some fans/ducting put in, but haven't yet had the chance. Might get it done in time for summer!

Here's another shot at one of the MR2 Forum meets:

I got the TEINs from Fulcrum suspensions in QLD for $1650 delivered.

The front is border, side are TOMs and rear are Bomex pods.

Hoping to put the intercooler and power FC in next month and tune it at about 15 psi and then later down the track I'll probably pay for a Hitman tune to 18 psi.

First things first though... I need a dump pipe!
