i don't know how much it will all cost after it all goes on... and I haven't shipped them over yet, but probably >$2k by the time they make it to more door, and possibly >$3k by the time they make it onto the car with brackets and bigger discs required to be bought =/

Very nice brakes man!
I'm assuming you'll be keeping the TYPE III calipers/RX8 disc combo for the rear?

yeah, however will probably need a prop valve of some sort just to get the balance right.
As it is now the rears never lock up!

Nice brake set up dylmrt. If you need new or hardly used rotors, contact Geoff at competitionracecomponents. He has al the right gear and knowledge. He doesn't sell the rotor hats but I evo65 has pointed me in the right direction of an engineer who will machine rotor hats for a fair price. I will be ordering a set for my car in 10 days , so if you would like to join in for a set for your car just drop a line. cheers

Interesting steve,
I will be using the hat from the rotors supplied but i'd probably like to get some bigger rotors. But i won't be getting them any time soon so i'll probably contact them in due time.
How's your beast going?

When you need the number just drop a line.
Mine is sitting in the shed waiting for some attention! I just bought some Alcon calipers for the front and wilwood for the rear, new AP 330x35 rotors front and 300x35 rear but need the hats machined which will be sorted a I stated earlier. Im changing to non power assisted brakes so Im sorting out the new pedal box, master cylinders, balance bar and adjuster. If I can get delivery from the US I will be going with a tilton pedal box.If not I will be going with a Coleman system. Also changing front springs and rear swaybar. There are a few more things but will save that for another day. Are you in Sydney?
