Looking good Kyle. Really good.

I think I've asked before, but who did the bodywork and respray? Did they do any rust repairs? Were their rates OK?

Cheers

the shop that did the repairs was in ingleburn.....

wreck - a - mended smash repairs....no rust repair as there was no rust to repair......body work was done mostly by my old man and i.........and then the major works finished by them...

had mates rates for it....as my old man knows the owner....they are slow though.......

I guess being slow is part of getting mates rates. The end result does look good though.

yeh i would say they would have done work on mine in their free time or non busy times....

it doesn't look to shabby.... it was never meant to be a "show" quality finish.... just a nice streeter...i think it pulled it off well..

should up date i also have some 20mm spacers for the rear waiting to go on....they look swell, just need to roll the gaurds

wow.... havent updated this in quite a long time...

quite a bit has happened.....

i was run off the road by a camry driver with no lights/indicator at about 9 pm at night a month or so ago, bent 2 of my rims, so at the moment im running the stockers all round...

too that oppurtunity to buy a daily car, take the MR2 off the road, replaced all teh bushes with superpro....greased them greatly, the car feels great again...

put a 175mm NEVO crank pulley on it...

detailed the cam covers

sprayed the under side of the car chassis black...in teh wheel arches aswell...

im thinking of converting it to turbo, but at the moment i have the task of pulling the gearbox out and fitting a LSD centre in it....

that is my next task...

here are some pics of it.....from a few of the updates

this was on of the wheels.....

pic from november issue of fast fours and rotaries

Before

After

camber and skids =

here is a pic of the old bushes, no wonder the steering wheel moved around so much!!!!!

yeh deffinatly needs wider rears...that is on the 2 do list... i got the tyres cheap hence why they are there, as money is wearing thin atm...so when these ones die it is time for some 205s in the rear i think..

but the specs are

15 x 8 +25 OG axis Oldskool

Sonar NS-1's 195/45/15

That's an awesome looking little hay mover!
Very impressive restoration, great work.
New rims suit nicely, look similar to old school Works. Looks like your drivers rear tyre is on the wrong way?
