Welcome mate.

Even thought a bug brake upgrade is cool, the best thing for an N/A is weight and suspension tuning.

No point spending a lot of awesome brakes when you'll take ages getting out of the corner no matter how fast you enter.

The best thing you could do is get amazing tyres and great coilovers.

Sorry welcome.

Have you got 2 gen disk and rotors now?

If you want to improve your times, it will not happen by upgrading to bigger brakes in a NA. You need to setup your suspension just right and put in HC800 pads even in a Gen 2 setup. Get a set Hankook Z2221 or better. Take some weight of the car, That will make you 2 second quicker per lap. Worry about the big brake after Wakefleid if think you need them. I know big brakes look and sound cool but it's an over kill on these light weight car. If you were doing endurance racing with high horsepower maybe, then I would get floating hubs etc, but were talking short sprint sessions.

Yea I see your point. My rotors are really old and if I'm going to buy new rotors, may be good time do the upgrade now with hc800 pads. It's gen2 so I'm going with gen3 rear rotors I think and r32 kit front.
I will try and take some interior plastics and what ever I can. Main think is I just want to have great time racing and meeting new people.

There is 10kg behind the seat, take the noise dampening carpet out, easy job.

Here is my bc coilovers setup. I'm still learning but I think it's street/ track.
I didn't know so let me know what's best.

thats a lot of toe at the back...  It also comes down to what kind of track you're hitting.  I try to run neutral toe at the front, to aid initial turn in, with half a mm toe-in each side at the back.  If it's going to a fast track, i'd run 1mm toe in at the front, to aid straight-line stability.

Its all trial and error, a compromise.  Have a play and find out for yourself :)
