MR2 Club event - August Sunday 21st - Technical Directors Day & AGM over BBQ Lunch

Hi its that time of the year again when the club holds its Technical Directors Day and annual AGM, This will be held on Sunday 21st of August at a secrete MR2 cave tucked away in Lowood. Start time will be 9:30am and run through to approx 4pm with a meet up and cruise for brisbane members at 8:00 for 8:30 departure form McDonalds Oxley (just off Ipswich Motorway next to Harvey Norman). This year there will be detailed empahsis on wheels, tyres and wheel alignment were our highly knowledgable club mechanic Craig (Scope) will go through aspescts of how and what different size wheels, tyres and alignment effect the MR2's handling. The best part is Criag will go through the techniques to perform a wheel alignment at home or for those who visit the track can learn how to make changes to improve handling. This is an excellent day where memebers can have relaxed time and a chance to look over each others cars and openly discuss all aspects MR2
In conjunction with the Technical Directors Day the club will be holding its annual AGM with a BBQ Lunch provided by the club, this gives the chance for members to bring forward new ideas and vote in the club committee for the next year ahead. So if you fell you would like to become part of the committee please be sure to attend bonus is FREE lunch.
For catering needs can you please list on roll call if you will attend and if will have a co-driver. Location address will be sent via PM before the day to all on the roll call.

Last year was an awesome day. Insight to the cars. Fun poppin the hoods on many twos :)
 
Free lunch is not right thought - it was an awesome feed last time - we all chip in and help cover costs or at least pay a membership cost that goes to putting on the feed (or was I the only one who ate and ate and ate - BBQ!!!)

Just to start the topic and conversation..... Selling set of 18's, tyres like new 215 (front) 235 (rear)- great fitting - no scrubbing - great handeling - best wheels for a mr2.... Let the conversation roll at the QLD tech day
