I'd recommend changing all seals and gaskets while you're doing the rebuild + all the parts listed above.
 
If you do go down the beams path, I have an ST202 red top available.

Hi Carmikey, I recently called to Toyota to get a quote on parts for my 3sge exact to your build and it come to $6k in parts.. I consider getting a 3sgte. So my question is can I use all my 3sge gears to run 3sgte ie drive shaft, brakes, gearbox etc... ta

No not all gears can be re-used for the 3sgte.
Drive shafts for starters are different, brakes yes & no, depending what revision mr2 you have. (I think post 92 are same as turbo (3sgte).
Gearboxes are different, 3sge run a S54, 3sgtes use a E-153 box, a lot bigger / heavier all together.
If you are thinking of going down the 3sgte turbo engine conversion, I would highly recommend for both ease of head ache & finances chasing down a complete rear end 3sgte turbo half cut.
There are loads of little things you will bump into through out the conversion & have to hunt down otherwise, like a 3sgte ECU, exhaust, etc. etc.
A good condition half cut or a complete ran down turbo mr2 can be found from as little as $1500 - $3500 as a rough guide.
I have done plenty conversion myself & that is around about what you will find.
