Looks tidy Mike, however you should throw this ending in the green car!

Go soothingly on the grease mud as there lurks a skid demon.

Finally got the interior up to scratch, came up great.

New stereo installed.

Had a mate of mine make up a carpeted box to cover the newly relocated battery. Looks like its factory :-)

So, I ended up selling this MR2 to a good friend, Rob (he comes over to Wakefield Park every year with me).
It's pretty well complete, yet he has a problem.
PROBLEM / SYMPTOMS:
- Starts and runs fine until it slightly warms up
- like the rich mixture doesn't switch off or re-adjust itself
- ends up stalling itself out, then hard to start.
Everything that I can think of has been changed or switched over with my working smallport track car. Including ECU.
Fuel pump flow, checked, no problem, ATM it seems to be something which controls the lean / rich mixture which could possibly be the problem.
Can anyone assist?

Is the cold start injector leaking or the cold start coolant switch faulty? Have you bench tested the coolant temp sensor for the ecu? Or the coolant idle valve on the throttle stuffed?
Or a temperature tested wiring short, has the engine got a good ground?

Finally sorted. It was a blocked vacuum hose, the little metal one on intake that runs to the MAF sensor.

Has anyone done a 2ZZ in an AW11 and had it formally modplated? Id be interested in knowing what's involved on the swap and its cost to get it complied.
