1990 White SW20 Hardtop GT

Thought I'd start a build thread to document everything. I acquired it from Dudeman as would be obvious from reading this forum. Imported from Japan in 2000. Paint was decent as it had a factory 043 white respray in two pack and it has a decent stereo system (thanks for that Dudeman). Odometer should be around 225,000k I guess going by the history. It had a few later revision updates on the body like front lip and rear wing. Steering wheel is a later model with air bag (obviously not connected) and seats are Australian I guess being cloth, which I like (not too much of a fan of leather).

Looks good, I saw this for sale and I was wishing I could buy it haha
I don't think the seats would be Australian - do you mean the soft plush cloth or are they very firm and rigid?

Not sure if you remember the Bathurst's seats but they have no "plush" feel to them. Just felt like fabric pulled over foam

Hi Hoonsy the seats feel firm and are exactly like the Bathurst I think, were the Australian seats softer?

As far as I'm aware, the JDM seats for G-Limited and GT-S models were very soft and plushy cloth seats.
And the ADM (Bathurst) seats are visually the same, but they don't have the soft fluffy fabric on them - just normal cloth. Then there's the GT with leather seats, obviously you don't have those :P

I'm probably wrong but someone else should be able to correct me haha

The original seats where RECAROS a factory optional extra.

Thanks Rick, it sounds a bit different to when I owned my Bathurst which had a delightful hum, but I like the power increase.
