Yes, when you arrive head to the office and sign the waiver and pick up a transponder.

Hi Guys,
Sorry for the delay in answering your questions.
Before the day
If you still have not registered on the QR website - you should. It is not compulsory but keeps the staff at QR very happy with us.
I'm sure you all know to check over your car etc. Take out any loose items. BRING TAPE to tape your number on the door of your car.
You will of course require a helmet, neck to wrist/ankle clothing and closed in shoes.
On the day Last time we got there at 11.30 and assembled in the paddock behind the sheds. after the drivers briefing, the previous sessions entrants cleared off the pit bays and then we took these and shared between 2 cars. I think this worked well and would like to do it again.
It's not compulsory to turn up at 11.30, but the 12.30 briefing is.
When you arrive, head to the pit office and sign in. People who registered online just have to sign one form and collect their timer(if they pay for one).
If you did not register online, you will have to fill out paperwork.
Timers Timers are optional. If you want one, you can rent it for $20 with a $100 deposit OR you can buy it outright for $120. The batteries last for over 5 years and they work at QR, lakeside, Wakefield park and a whole other stack of tracks. I personally bought one last time.
Any problems on the day, you can give me a call on 0481 one three six 682. I will be wearing a black shirt with an SW20 on it - I will also be in my red Subaru Liberty.
I will only be in attendance till roughly the end of the last session - If after this time you need some help or instructions, a lot of the members who are attending have been before. If somthing major happens please call me.
Entrant List 1. Dom - AW11 2. Doug - AW11 3. Roger SW 20 NA 4. Bill S15 T 5. Bruce TR3 or Ferrari if tyres arrive 6. Tim AW11 (N/A) 7. Johan Elise - Puny but loud N/A 1.6L 8. Nelson AW11 9. Sonny SW20 10. 11. Jerome MR-S 12. Anthony MR 2 T 13. Jason SW20 14. Tony Evo 6 15. Keith Holtham 86 16. Jamie - Evo 17. Grant - Aw11 18. Adam - AW11 T 19. Mark - AW11 SC 20. Peter or Laurence
VERY IMPORTANT RE: WEATHER There may be some rain tommorow. There will be no refunds issued if it rains and you decide not to come along. Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled AND Queensland Raceway provide us with a refund.
If for some reason you cannot make it, it is your responsibility to find a replacement if you want to recouperate the costs. Please let me know
And finally, thanks to those who paid on time! Lets have some fun

A note from last time, if you haven't registered online it's probably better to get in a bit earlier than 11:30 as the office staff were a bit frustrated with the amount of people doing paperwork on the day (which then caused the briefing to run late). Secondly I received an email a while back regarding "Lapcivers" on special and confirmed over the phone today that they are still in stock and pricing is still current. No more waiting for the printout to get lap times!! Qld Raceways
Price Drop on Lapceivers due to overstock was $110 NOW $95 You can get instant in car timing at all Sprints, and General Practise run at both Queensland Raceways and Lakeside Park. Lapceivers will record up to 2500 Laps across 5 memory banks and come with a USB cable so you can download them to your PC. You can have them displayed in your car and get instant times or your pit crew can use them in the pit area. They will receive a signal anywhere on the venues when synced to your timer. You will need to have a westhold timer for these to operate. If you don't have one you can purchase these in a pack for $185 (timer and Lapceiver). Please note timing print outs are not offered on a general practise just for a sprint meeting. To purchase please call 5461-9100 or come to the circuit office at either track. Thanks Sales Team Queensland Raceways T - 5461-9100 www.qldraceways.com.au
I'm looking forward to Saturday, here's hoping for a lack of wind / storms tonight and tomorrow so I don't get called back in to work!
Go soothingly on the grease mud as there lurks a skid demon.

Interesting, I was convinced I left my timer at home but it must have been wedged under the battery or something. That would explain why only two laps registered. It may be amusing to some of you to know I drove home with a giant number six plastered to the side of my car which I think raised some eyebrows on the way home. Completely forgot about it.

Great day the wet track just makes it so much more interesting. Got some close up video of the nissans drifting the dipper. Timers were interesting I had a timer and Bill didn't have one. However BOTH cars recorded times??? They also had me driving the nissan and Bill in the mr. Think they must have had my transponder registered to both cars lol. Can we do another day before the end of the wet season please.

Domma_aw11 ... next time needs to be lakeside.
I second that. Keen for an MR2 sprint at Lakeside. Thanks again to the club and the people organizing these!

How about a Track crawl in 2016 - one practice day or sprint session each quarter starting at Lakeside, Morgan Park, QR then Norwell? Throw in some Hillclimb "come & try" sessions at Mt Cotton, Noosa and Raleigh for some track work every second month!
