Autopista style rear wing is on.


 
Very unhappy with the Gen3 Front Lip.. With all due respect to everyone's opinions and preferences, as an outdated and expensive 2nd hand item, it's a waste of money IMO comparing to brand new aftermarket bumpers and PU lips that I could've got for the same $.. 
I did the installation with the bumper on which is doeable but obviously uncomfortable (especially when you're dealing with 25 years old rusted and corroded screws).
The lip simply does NOT fit on the gen1 bumper. it doesn't sit "comfortably" with the bumper. The existing holes don't line up nicely.. I did some research, and some people have drilled new holes in the bottom of the bumper to make it fit. The only problem is, even if I make it line up and sit properly, it will be under constant considerable amount of stress (bending force), and it will snap/crack in no time.. It's currently sitting with its front looks like it's pushed back (hanging on tight to the bumper, so no safety issues there)
 
The only reason I left it on was hoping it can help me for the upcoming track day in 10 days. It's coming right off after that!!
 

I do have all the 6 plates needed.
The shape/curve of the lip simply does not line up with the curve of the bumper full stop (I quad-checked today).
Regardless of plates, holes, or screws, if the curves don't match, the lip (or the bumper) will be under constant stress once they're installed flush, which is a big no no, they'll snap on the track in no time.
Maybe the shape of my bumper (or lip) that I have is distorted for whatever reason.

Today was a success on the cooling front. Hot day, but the temp stayed where it should.
 
I wasn't aiming for any PB as it was more of a testing session.
 
Lack of time (preparing to move interstate!) meant I went out there with few systems (brakes, suspension, cooling, front Aero) in a below average shape..
 
- The front rotors were getting the "shakes" big time, which resulted in my brakes feeling no where near as good as last time..
 
- The chassis post roll cage felt nice and rigid, but no proper suspension adjustment and wheel alignment to suit the "new chassis" meant the car felt unstable, like it wants to hop and dance.. Really twitchy.. 
 
- Front Aero (with the Gen3 lip that's not sitting 100%) is better than last time, but obviously could be improved. I wouldn't say it was a major limitation today, but definitely on the table.

Great to you have the car turning some laps.
Soften up the shocks will help settle the car. disconnect the rear sway bar if its still moving around too much.
A 1.23 is a stout time. That will see you under the 1.10 at Wakefield in Jan!

And today I found out that my right rear tow arm bushing is on its way out..

I can't wait to see this car!

So after ~1400Km drive (Adelaide-Melbourne-Canberra), the car made it with no major issues. However the less than ideal suspension state ensured the drive wasn't "fun".
Beside that, the only minor issue I still have is the rear tire rubbing on the arch when hitting bad bumps.
 
As I mentioned earlier, the roll cage has made every suspension imperfection come to the surface.. Good in a way I guess. I decided to address this ASAP, otherwise no MCT for me :(
 
I've ordered a PROTHANE total bushing kit to replace my 25 year old bushings and Wilhelm Raceworks Suspension Geometry Kit. These should hopefully help address my problems. I will also be getting my guards rolled (Where in Canberra by the way?)
