kameleon: I wasn't expecting it to be prepped so quickly as I was thinking he would work on your car before mine. I'm looking forward to seeing your side skirts being fitted this Saturday.

sandog: ha-ha when are you coming back down to Melbourne man?

silvastreak: Ahh the K1-380V was a good turbo . Nick has it now and from what he has told me he's very impressed by it.

madmr2- noooooooo =[ need to get around to adjusting the throttle body on my car since its idling at 1500rpm, hopefully that will make the idle bearable. i agree its a very nice sound, yet to open it up beyond 3000rpm. getting out of the car is like leaving a night club, ears feel muffled lol

trav - total about 10 months. first three months was because of failed clutch so i changed the gearbox and alotta other stuff. picked it up and engine broke on the way home, so back to the shop again, from there it took 7 months, picked it up last thurs.

darren- im surprised your going in for a rebuild again? glad to see your happy with the PE turbo though

silvastreak: The PE1919T was only on the car for a few days until the engine started to leak oil but it did feel good straight after the install. Trav did notice the car was surging a lot earlier though so hopefully the cams will fix that .

I was planning to get the engine freshened up when I got cams installed so the "engine old leak" was a blessing in disguise. It also gives me a chance to replace a few other engine components for better ones

squigg: Thanks man. Now I'm just waiting on a few parts from Japan and for my custom forged pistons to be delivered then things will start coming together

DOuFINKimSEXY: I think it looks better in person as the pictures make it look a little orange. I'm very happy with how it came out; I just need the rest of the car painted at a later date.

The heat shields are looking better than what they did before man .

mr2boi: I can't wait too . The guy that did the engine bay and front compartment (ANSON AUTO) can read Chinese so I guess that explains why my car was covered in Chinese newspaper [88].

Hopefully things will start coming together in the next couple of weeks. I'm still waiting on some HKS parts from Japan.
